00:12Today, we witnessed China put on the largest military parade in their history.
00:17All major roads were closed, schools were shut down,
00:20and they even had weeks of midnight rehearsals and security preparations
00:24to make sure that today went off without a hitch.
00:27One by one, world leaders started arriving, most of which are the names that you would expect,
00:31like Kim, Putin, etc.
00:33In fact, for good old Kim, it took him 20 hours just to get to China,
00:37because he got there on his infamous slow, armored, bulletproof train,

01:26These included new powerful laser weapons capable of taking out swarms of drones,
01:30burning electronics, or even blinding pilots,
01:33new nuclear ballistic missiles with a range capable of striking U.S. mainland,
01:37giant underwater unmanned drones,
01:39and also a number of weapons which display China's heavy investment in the future of warfare,
01:44including drones, smart tanks, AI-assisted weaponry, and of course, even robot dogs.
01:50In fact, today on Chinese social media, all of the top searches were about the parade and its weapons,
01:54including the fourth one talking about their new ICBMs having the striking range that covers the entire world.
02:01But for Xi Jinping, what means more than showing off new weaponry is showing off a new world order,
02:08one that challenges the West and its allies,
02:10but also one where China is positioned right in the center.
02:14In fact, in Xi's speech overlooking the military parade, he said,
02:17The rise of the Chinese nation is unstoppable.
02:20Strength may prevail for a time, but over the long arc of history, it's reason that wins.
02:25So the question is, is Donald Trump's foreign policy pushing these countries together to strengthen their relations,
02:30or was what we saw today inevitable and would have happened no matter who was in office?
