What would happen... if the nation of Cambodia were to collapse under the weight of immense debt? A result of its leaders' flawed decisions, deceiving their own people, antagonizing their neighbors, distorting the truth to the world, and leading the nation into war. Cambodia would become a battleground for superpowers.  That is the fate of Cambodia... At that moment, the country of Cambodia would be no more. Its citizens would become stateless.  And on that empty land... a new chapter of history is about to begin. Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam will all step in to play a role in this land.

01:22bringing prosperity to every province.

01:24This is a complete transformation of our economy.

01:28The time has come for the land of our ancestors,

01:33once taken from us by Western powers,

01:36to return to the embrace of Thailand.

01:39This is not an invasion,

01:41but a homecoming for what is rightfully ours.

01:44We will heal this wounded land,

01:47removing the deadly traps of landmines completely,

01:49and we will revive the great ancient Khmer civilization to its former glory,

01:54as a world heritage for Thais and the international community to admire together.

01:58This is not an end,

02:01but the rebirth of a region.

02:03From a battlefield of conflict,

02:05to an era of cooperation and development unlike any before,

02:09Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam,

02:12the three great powers of Southeast Asia

02:14will jointly create advanced technology,

02:17art, and culture.

02:19And most importantly,

02:20they will become the breadbasket of the world,

02:23leading our three nations and the entire region to true and lasting prosperity.
