00:00Your karma is based on your actions in this life. Everything that happens is predestined. So, aren't these two contrary?
00:09No. See, karma is based on your action. So whatever action we are doing, action of thoughts or speech or body, at a time we are, due to ignorance, we are charging new karma.
00:27So, new karma, seed we are pouring in this life. Next life, result of seed will come. So, whole life from birth to death is a result.
00:41So, result means you cannot change anything. So, thoughts or speech or action is a result of past life. So, from birth till death you cannot change anything.
00:53You cannot control, you cannot change, you cannot stop. But you can change your causes, you can stop your causes.
01:00So, effect is predestined. But causes is not predestined. That is, due to your ignorance, due to your development, you are charging new karma.
01:13So, that you can change. Suppose your action is, say, angry, you become, you can become angry on somebody else. At that time you can change your causes. Oh, this is effect. I should not be angry on any person.
01:28You can pray. You can pray to any God or any, you are worshipping. Oh, this is my mistake. I should not repeat this mistake. Please give me strength not to do this mistake.
01:40So, at that time you are changing your cause. And that cause, in next life, once your seed you pour in the soil, then you cannot control. Automatically, that will grow up. You will get fruit.
01:55So, here, we can, so, it is, your karma, means, charged karma is based on your action. And, discharged karma is predestined. You understood?
02:10So, you cannot change anything. For only one life. Not every life. This life, from birth to death, is not unchangeable.
02:19But, that also depends on your circumstances. Like, in this life, maybe I have been lucky enough that I can attend such programs and, you know, I have been taught by my parents. So, my actions are different. What about in my last life?
02:31No. I might not have been so unprivileged and my actions were based on the people around me. So, am I to be blamed for my actions? Orโฆ
02:41No. See, you have to understand, action means result. And, understanding means causes. So, you believe that, oh, my parents are good. They have teached me such things. I came in satsang.
02:57So, this is, I am lucky. So, lucky is a result. And, you feel, this is good. I should repeat this. I should come again and again. That is your cause. And, that cause, in next life, you will get more satsang, better result. Because, you see, same thing you are pouring again. Oh, this is good in my life. I should repeat. I should come again and again.
03:20So, that cause will give you next life better result. You will attain more satsang. You will get more knowledge by the satsang. Like that, see, action and causes both are very near. So, action is visible by five senses. And, causes is not visible by five senses. It is belief. You say, oh, I waste, this is waste of time and energy. I should not come.
03:49I should not come. That is belief. And, you feel, oh, this is good. I should come again. That is belief. And, belief is a cause. It is charging for next life. And, action, anybody say, oh, she came in satsang, she was in front row, like that. That is discharge karma. It is result of past life. You understood?
