Do you attempt DIY projects in your home or would you rather leave it to the professionals and why? Have you ever had a DIY disaster or success story?

00:00It's a topical point for me because I moved out a couple of months ago and I've been doing some DIY.

00:05I wouldn't do everything. I wouldn't pretend I'm an expert at it.

00:08Leave it to the professionals because I'm rubbish at it. I start something if you can't finish it.

00:13Got two slide and draw wardrobes from IKEA and started to make them.

00:22It seems to be going quite well and then I realised that a piece didn't fit

00:27and then I realised that when it was delivered I should have actually checked that the right parts came

00:32because it was completely the wrong part.

00:34Leave it to someone else.

00:36Like self-inflicted disaster because they'd set the wrong part.

00:41But I think I know my limits as well.

00:44I wouldn't try anything particularly to do with plumbing or electricity and stuff like that

00:50because I think what's the worst that could happen? It probably was.

00:54So yeah, a bit of a piece of disaster with the wardrobes but it's all alright now.
