00:00Fred, how do you see this? Is the U.S. receiving that message? Is this an ultimatum?
00:06It's a pleasure to be here. I don't see this as a new world order. I see President Xi and Putin
00:10responding to a very dominant American president and trying to counter this influence,
00:16maybe knock him down a peg. The Shanghai organization has a reputation for
00:21PR events and issuing press releases, but really not doing anything. And I think it's clear that
00:27although many nations want to have good relations with China, they don't want a new world order,
00:32especially one led by the Chinese Communist Party, which would be bad for their freedom.
00:36It would be bad for their economies. So this is all good optics. I think it represented a number
00:42of states that were trying to get leverage against the United States and trade deals,
00:46especially India on tariffs. But this most certainly does not represent a new world order
00:51or a world order led by China.
