00:04Yes, people were telling me about my children leaving the nest when they were 10 years old.
00:10It was like, okay, how is this going to be?
00:13But I have to say that after my children graduated, my young adults graduated from college,
00:19it was such a profoundly proud moment for me as a parent
00:25that I seriously couldn't wait for that leaving of the nest thing to happen
00:33because to now observe what has been nurtured for 24 and 22 years, it's just a joy.
00:42You know, my kids give me, first of all, I get re-educated through them.
00:46I get re-educated in arts and, you know, music.
00:52We're all history fans.
00:54They love to hang with Michael and me, and Michael and I find that one of the most complimentary things
00:59that our kids want to actually hang with us.
01:02And I think when my friends, my European friends, who are always like, for me, my parenting barometer,
01:11you know, when my European friends say to me, wow, you and Michael did a great job,
01:16you brought them up, they're not affected, they're smart, they're funny, they're humble, they're inquisitive.
01:22It's literally the most pride I could ever, ever feel in my life.
