I come alive when I'm in orbit.
00:05
It's like my being should be in space.
00:10
Some people are born to be cowboys and ride a horse.
00:14
I'm born to ride a rocket and be in space.
00:18
And there is NASA astronaut Don Pettit flying in to the International Space Station.
00:23
Science of Opportunity happens on Earth. It happens anywhere.
00:30
There are scientists, engineers, ubergeeks that are tasked with doing some programmatic work in a laboratory.
00:39
And because you are there and you can, you get an idea.
00:44
It's not on the script. It's not part of the program.
00:47
But you get an idea.
00:49
So the science of opportunity happens anywhere.
00:52
There are people thinking about advancing our knowledge.
00:57
And the same thing happens on space station.
01:01
Wow.
01:03
That's good.
01:05
And then that rogue drone just came in from some place and then it went someplace.
01:10
Whoa. Look at that.
01:15
I have been working with ice.
01:18
I'm freezing and thawing these crystals and looking at the front between the different crystals.
01:26
The kind of research we do on space station is research where gravity has a major factor in the equation.
01:37
Looking at Earth's horizon and our atmosphere on edge is truly a unique sight.
01:47
You can also point your camera more zenith and you could look at Milky Way structures.
01:54
Images from space help tell the story to people on Earth that don't have the opportunity to go into space.
02:07
So the photographs help complete the story of what it means for human beings to expand into space and expand into this frontier.
02:19
And I'll see you in the next one.
02:20
From the next one.
02:22
Coming soon guys.
02:23
You can also look at the pictures from the university of California in the New York City.
02:24
Sometimes it's a great deal.
02:25
