The story begins with Li Jianjian, a cheerful and quirky little girl who lives with her single father, Li Haichao, who runs a small noodle shop. Nearby, two young boys come into her life—Ling Xiao, who moves into the same neighborhood with his father (a policeman), and He Ziqiu, who is abandoned by his biological mother but later taken in by Li Haichao.
In this first episode, we see how these three children, though unrelated by blood, slowly become each other’s family. Despite coming from broken or painful backgrounds, their bond of friendship and siblinghood begins to grow. The episode also shows the warmth of Li Haichao, who treats all three children as his own, creating a loving home full of humor and care.
