00:00Congratulations! How does it feel to be the new Wilma Walls medal winner?
00:05Yeah, no, it feels really nice. I was certainly not expecting it.
00:09So I feel very privileged to be sharing this alongside Chloe Ma from the same team who became runners-up.
00:14Yeah, no, I feel really, really privileged.
00:16Yeah, it's been a big year for you. Do you want to sort of take us through the season and what this award means to you?
00:22Yeah, definitely coming in at the start of the season, sort of knowing no one at Naranda, definitely jumping in the deep end.
00:28Now, you know, I've never turned back. All the girls are incredible. I felt so welcome.
00:32I know they all say, like, and it sounds a bit clichéd, but everyone's so friendly and everyone is so friendly.
00:37It feels like home. They're the best people to be around. Everyone's so supportive and it's just such a country, little tight-knit community.
00:42But it means a lot, you know, when you're working really hard and tireless hours that not many people see behind the scenes in terms of administration
00:49and, like, also me training my own hours, you know, because sometimes it's not easy to train whilst you're training the side.
00:54So, yeah, no, it feels really special to win this award and I know Wilma is always our biggest supporter on Saturday,
00:59so I feel really, really honoured to have won this.
01:01Yeah, and you're going in as coach. You've got the next couple of weeks ahead of you to the final stretch. How are we feeling?
01:07Good. I just keep saying to the girls, we're a solid four quarters away from being, you know, potential grand finalists.
01:14But, you know, those four quarters, we've got to be determined, work hard, and it's not just going to happen.
01:18I think it's something we really took out of Saturday. It doesn't just happen.
01:20So, we're going to have to grind and work for it, but I'm really excited for the challenge.
01:24Thanks so much and congratulations again.
01:25Thank you very much.
