What happens when you try to make the world’s largest ice cream cone that’s taller than a car? 🍦😱
We gathered a team of engineers, builders, and dessert experts to pull off something never done before — creating a record-breaking 20-foot ice cream cone that actually stands up and doesn’t collapse!
But things didn’t exactly go as planned...
Here’s what went down:
🍦 Building a 10-foot cone using real waffle mix!
❄️ Stacking over 500 gallons of ice cream 🧊
💪 Fighting melting disasters in 100°F heat ☀️
😂 Ice cream explosions mid-challenge
🤯 A crane had to lift the final scoop!
🏆 The moment we broke the record (and made a huge mess!)
This was one of our craziest, coldest, and sweetest builds ever —
and yes, MrBeast tried a bite! 😋

00:00Today I'll be building the world's largest ice cream cone.
00:03The current record for the world's largest ice cream cone is 10 feet tall.
00:06It was done in Norway back in 2015.
00:08To make sure we beat the current world record, we spent hours coming up with the plan.
00:12The first part of the plan is to go to the store and get the supplies that we need.
00:16There is way more flavors of ice cream than I ever realized, so I think we should go get
00:20people's opinions.
00:21Chocolate.
00:22Strawberry.
00:23Vanilla.
00:24Yes!
00:25That's my favorite flavor too.
00:26Bubblegum.
00:27Vanilla.
00:28After counting up the votes, we decided to go with vanilla.
00:29Probably the thousand pounds of ice cream.
00:30That's why later on we're buying a giant ice cream truck and we're also renting out this
00:33entire chocolate factory.
00:35And to build the world's largest waffle cone, we're partnering with Muddy Bites.
00:38We are about to buy every single Muddy Bites they have.
00:40Muddy Bites are a bite-sized waffle cone snack filled with creamy chocolate.
00:44They taste just like the bottom of a sundae cone.
00:46It's the best buy over and over again.
00:48You really got to try these.
00:49They're so good.
00:50You like that?
00:51All right, that'll be $100.
00:52Are you okay?
00:53Yeah, try it.
00:54I just hurt my knee.
00:55Now that we have all the ingredients, we can start building.
00:56I know this is going to be my favorite video.
00:57To build our giant ice cream cone, we need 1,000 pounds of ice cream, 300 pounds of chocolate,
01:08and 400 pounds of waffle cones.
01:10Our biggest concern is if the waffle cones will be able to support all of that weight
01:13since they're so weak.
01:16To really put the waffles to the test, we're going to see if a wall made from waffles
01:19can stop a toy car.
01:20Fire up, Noah.
01:23Yeah, I'd say that's pretty weak.
01:28So to make sure our giant waffle cone doesn't break as easy as the waffles just did, we're
01:31building a giant metal frame to support it.
01:34Dude, come on!
01:36Our giant ice cream cone is so tall that we literally have to use the scaffolding just to
01:40put the cone in.
01:41Now that we have our plan in motion, we stacked our metal cone structure together so we could
01:44begin the next step.
01:45Another one of our biggest concerns is the ice cream melting.
01:47We've ran multiple tests in different weather conditions, and on average, it always melts
01:51within five minutes.
01:52But I have a trick up my sleeve.
01:54Dry ice.
01:55It's cold.
01:56In the design of our structure, we're leaving an entire compartment filled with dry ice that'll
02:00cool the ice cream from the bottom up.
02:01We're going to start by melting down over 300 pounds of chocolate.
02:05This smells so good.
02:06The entire inside of our cone will be filled with delicious melt chocolate just like a Muddy
02:10Bite.
02:11We are actually painting right now using chocolate.
02:13If this works, I'm definitely painting my house like this.
02:16Wow, that's some good chocolate!
02:18Me and the team spent the next 12 hours applying the chocolate and we started to go crazy.
02:22What did the ice cream say to the angry ice cream?
02:24What?
02:25You're a bit frosty.
02:26This is actually ridiculous.
02:27After completely covering the cone in chocolate, it's time to start adding the waffles.
02:30Building the world's largest waffle cone would be impossible by ourselves.
02:33That's why we teamed up with Muddy Bites who literally make delicious bite-sized cones
02:37every day.
02:38Me and Noah have spent countless hours learning from their incredible team so we could supersize
02:41their product.
02:42Let's start making our giant Muddy Bite.
02:44Placing all the waffle cones on our ice cream cones seems like a simple step, but it's not
02:47easy at all because...
02:48We're going to have to add over 400 pounds of waffles to make this happen.
02:52And this is the first one.
02:56So far, we're not having any luck with the waffle sticking.
03:01Our waffle is not sticking to the chocolate and it's extremely fragile.
03:04Since we can't figure this out, Cheyenne and Noah are going to learn how to make Muddy
03:07Bites chocolate from scratch.
03:09We have our own proprietary recipe.
03:10We've created it, nobody else has it.
03:12This is like real life Willy Wonka.
03:13While they were learning the biggest chocolate secrets in the world, I had a meeting with the
03:17world record company.
03:18Her world record is 10 feet.
03:19In order to be eligible, it's going to need to be edible, it needs to be fully consumed.
03:23We don't want to waste anything.
03:24Normally we have a much better success rate when we do this in the winter.
03:27There's some concern on my end there.
03:29You know, I'm flying all the way from New York to make this happen, so I can't say I'm
03:32going to come out again.
03:33So we only have one shot, one opportunity to do this.
03:35The pressure is definitely on.
03:37Yeah.
03:38We're really relying on my friends to make a better recipe to make the waffle stick.
03:42All the chocolate comes through the pipe down here into the hopper and they get individually
03:47filled into the tray, cooled throughout the AC tunnel.
03:50This is the tempering unit.
03:51This is going to raise the temperature of the chocolate and decrease it.
03:53That way the crystal's in the chocolate form and you get a nice break and snap whenever
03:57you break the chocolate.
03:58This is the chocolate manufacturing room.
03:59So we have all the melting chains.
04:00We have the purple.
04:01I don't think we can do that.
04:02The easy bay coming it is, you know.
04:04The chocolate factory making chocolate.
04:07So would you say that Noah's a chocolate pro now?
04:09He's certified.
04:10He's certified.
04:11I got the perfect ingredient to make chocolate.
04:13Let's get to work.
04:17This chocolate is going to act as an edible glue.
04:19Now that we have the perfect chocolate recipe, we can begin sticking the waffles again.
04:25Ow!
04:26It's hot.
04:27No done, dude.
04:28It just came out of the freaking thing.
04:29These things are sticking a lot better today.
04:30Hey buddy, I'll help you out.
04:31Hey!
04:32It's good!
04:33It's good!
04:36Now that we've finished our waffle cone, there's still one thing that we need.
04:39What is it?
04:40Ice cream.
04:41I rented out this entire ice cream truck so we can learn how to make ice cream from a professional.
04:44We're getting ready to try to take on a world record and we need your help.
04:47This over here is where the magic happens.
04:49All the ice cream flavors are inside.
04:50If we're going to break this world record, I got to know how all of this works.
04:53It's not supposed to sound like that.
04:55This guy's a freaking mess.
04:56He's going to mess up my truck.
04:58That's my first milkshake ever.
04:59Uh, you're not usually supposed to drink from those cups.
05:01We're making an 11 foot tall ice cream and I don't even know how to make a regular size one.
05:05So you're going to need a little practice.
05:06And I would go on the outside and then scoop inward.
05:09That one's kind of rough.
05:10Can you show me how to do it?
05:11Absolutely.
05:12I look so much better than mine.
05:13About 10 times better for sure.
05:14After seeing how long it takes to scoop the ice cream, he decided to let us borrow his brand new soft serve machine.
05:19Now that we have this machine, I am feeling way more confident.
05:22It's going to be able to pump out so much ice cream.
05:24Let's make some ice cream!
05:25We have over a thousand pounds of vanilla soft serve mix right here that we'll be dumping into this machine so we can break this world record.
05:31Let's start making some ice cream.
05:34I love the attention to detail on this machine.
05:36The loading dots are ice cream cones.
05:38First batch, let's see how this goes.
05:40We need you to inspect this ice cream to see if it tastes good.
05:43This is the first bite of our homemade ice cream.
05:45I'd say that's going to win a world record.
05:46Only 999 pounds to go.
05:48I've been doing this for hours.
05:52It's so exhausting.
05:53We're halfway there.
05:54We were making the ice cream for two full days and luckily the machine held up.
05:58That's our last bag of ice cream.
06:00Which means it's time to start loading everything up for delivery.
06:02This is our giant freezer that has all the ice cream in it.
06:05We're adding these protective layers right here to help it from the wind while we're driving.
06:09Hopefully this helps.
06:11For the launch of Money Bites product nationwide in Walmart locations,
06:14we're having a massive red carpet event to celebrate and unveil this ice cream.
06:17Roll it on out, my man.
06:18I'm so grateful to have such an amazing event set up, but now it's all on us to actually make this world record happen.
06:23People are already starting to show up.
06:24For our brand, this is a huge deal, so we really want it to go well.
06:27I got some really bad news for Matt.
06:29Uh, there's an issue.
06:30There can't be an issue.
06:31What is it?
06:32Climb the ladder and open the top and look.
06:37This is not good, so the waffle did break.
06:39Half of our cones broke off and we already have guests waiting outside before the event even starts.
06:43I'm really stressed because these aren't going to bend.
06:45Literally just...
06:47I need you to buy us some time.
06:48How much time?
06:49A lot.
06:50What time do you guys want us to start adding the ice cream again?
06:52Shoot for right around 2 o'clock to the official measurement.
06:55Hopefully we can make it happen.
06:56Do you need more time?
06:57Um, yeah.
07:01So we have the curtains shut.
07:02There's tons of fans outside and the cone is falling apart.
07:04We don't want anyone to see that.
07:05It takes about five minutes for the waffles to dry,
07:07so I just have to sit up here and hold them in place.
07:09My arms are already tired.
07:10Oh, I am so stressed.
07:11Let's see how many people are out here.
07:12There were so many people in line even though the cone was broken,
07:15we had to open the event.
07:16We're getting ready to let everyone in.
07:18Alright, it's official.
07:19Have you ever been on a red carpet before?
07:20No.
07:21Me neither.
07:22Noah, none of these cones are sticking.
07:23If I move my hand, they just fall off.
07:24And I've been holding it for like six minutes.
07:26The team was trying to fix the damages.
07:27I was hanging out with the guests who showed up to the event.
07:29He wants to take a thumbnail.
07:30Can I actually get an autograph?
07:32Of course.
07:33I feel like I'm going to ruin this.
07:34No, I'm not.
07:35It'll increase the value.
07:36I really hope that these don't fall off during the event.
07:39I heard you came here all the way from Ohio.
07:41Yeah, that's correct.
07:42Are you subscribed to the channel?
07:43Yes, I am.
07:44You just got $1,000.
07:45Really?
07:46Yeah.
07:47Thanks, man.
07:48Thank you for being subscribed.
07:49While I was interacting with everyone at the event, the team was able to fix the cone before anyone even noticed.
07:52Diane and I finally got the cones to stick, so we're on a good path right now.
07:55To ensure the ice cream doesn't melt, we're going to be adding over 100 pounds of dry ice under it and then stacking the ice cream above it.
08:01Oh my god.
08:02Woo!
08:03We're about to add our first piece of ice cream.
08:05It's very heavy.
08:06All right, first one down.
08:08So the way that we're going to be accomplishing this is we're going to be taking tons of buckets of ice cream, stacking them all around it, and then we'll begin shaping it.
08:14Ice cream going up.
08:17Are you guys loving this?
08:19Yes!
08:20It's getting warm out there.
08:21This is not going to be good.
08:24I'm going to stack these ice creams like Legos and then sculpt it.
08:28It's melting so quick.
08:29Do you guys think we're going to get the record?
08:31Yes.
08:32Here's the world record guy.
08:33He hasn't broken eye contact with the ice cream yet.
08:35How do you think it's going?
08:36Oh, we'll see.
08:38You know, it's starting to melt.
08:40See if we can get it all the way up.
08:42All right.
08:44Whoa, that looks like it's melting already.
08:46They just gave me a really melty one.
08:48You know, we still need to go like 16 inches.
08:51I hope we have 16 inches of ice cream left.
08:54We only have one bucket left.
08:55This is the last bucket of ice cream to hopefully break a world record.
08:58We're going to pass it all the way down there.
09:00Starting with you.
09:01Go, go, go!
09:05That's fucking it!
09:12There's only one thing left to do and that is to see if I am getting my first ever world record.
09:16World record.
09:17World record is 10 foot, 1 inch.
09:19We're level and we're crushing the ice cream.
09:22We have 11 foot.
09:23Congratulations, Matt.
09:24You did it.
09:25That's the world record!
09:27Who wants ice cream?
09:31After beating the world record, we started passing out the ice cream and made sure that everyone ate it.
09:35For every one pound of ice cream we used in this video, we donated $1 to Feeding America.
09:39Thanks again to Money Bites for making this world record possible and make sure to check out their delicious treats at a local Walmart using the link below.
09:45Bye!
