00:00Zelensky has once again been hit with false property empire allegations.

00:06A so-called news report is circulating online alleging that Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky

00:12is the owner of a $1.2 billion real estate empire.

00:17The video alleges that a former investigator at Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau,

00:22known as Olena K, defected to Europe with thousands of pages of internal files

00:28that supposedly show systemic corruption at the highest echelons of the government in Kyiv.

00:33She allegedly oversaw a task force tracking offshore wealth transfers and shell companies

00:38tied to Zelensky and his allies,

00:41which were used to buy more than 100 luxury properties abroad for the president and his family.

00:46On paper, Zelensky owns nothing.

00:47In reality, he owns everything, the video claims.

00:51However, there's absolutely no evidence that any of this is true,

00:54with the video appearing dubious at best.

00:56The voiceover on the video is clearly AI and robotic, hinting at its lack of legitimacy.

01:02Many posts on X sharing it also link to its apparent source,

01:06a website called the London Telegraph,

01:09which seems to conflate the names of real news outlets like the Daily Telegraph

01:13and the London Evening Standard to feign legitimacy.

01:16Euroverify was unable to access the page of the journalist who supposedly wrote the story,

01:21but other fact-checkers said her photo was stolen from a legitimate journalist

01:25unaffiliated with the website.

01:27There's no reputable reporting on Olenakay or a defecting NABU agent,

01:31and no evidence of the file supposedly detailing Zelensky's transactions anywhere.

01:37Both Zelensky and his wife Olenak Zelenska have previously been the targets of allegations

01:42that they own a vast property portfolio or spend aid money for Ukraine on luxury goods,

01:47but they have all proven to be bogus reports that attempt to destabilise support for Ukraine against Russia's war.
