00:06:46and my kids are over there, and I'm doing it for them, I'm teaching them that, you know,
00:06:53if you work really hard, you can follow your dreams, and I never thought that I would turn

00:09:52which is like the most ridiculous thing to do, but I knew my mum would kill me if I didn't

00:15:19I started singing when I was nine years old.

00:18:50time and as a singer I like to give that positive influence to people and make
00:18:55changes in people's lives sort of influence people yeah help them to feel
00:18:59very you know very good about themselves because you know there's lots of people
00:19:03out there that don't and I'm a I want to be that positive light for people

00:20:11voice I've ever heard in my life and I became this sort of huge fanboy of John I
00:20:17ended up touring in Australia about a year year and a half after that there
00:20:22was a knock at the door and it was John Farnham at my show and we ended up
00:20:26becoming friends and writing together the thing about John is his dynamics and I
00:20:32wanted to hear more dynamics for a competition like this I think you got to
00:20:38show different kinds of colors that said you have the instrument man you have such
00:20:43power and love for it I feel inspired just listening to you sing and
00:20:49especially meeting you now I I just wish you nothing but the best thank you

00:36:20everything they are my first audience i needed something to believe in a way to slow my breathing
00:36:29as a classically trained singer i am so inspired by kate miller haki no one has a voice like kate's
00:36:36voice and the fact that i get to perform in front of kate is a dream come true
