00:12This centre is designed with growing demand in mind offering comprehensive end-of-life services including medical assistance in dye-in or MAID which now plays a role in over 12% of deaths in the region.
00:27Sonia Belanger, the Minister for Seniors, emphasized that as Quebec ages with more than 2 million people, over 65 demand for palliative, home and hospital care as well as MAID will only rise in the coming years.
