Star Wars fans take over Cleveleys beach film location

00:00May 2021, Lucasfilm chose Cleveley's to represent the planet of Nia Moss for the hit TV show Andor.

00:09We just put some notes up around Facebook saying,

00:12if you're a Star Wars fan, come spend the day with us and celebrate Star Wars in an actual filming location.

00:18Since that first one, each one we've done has gotten bigger and better.

00:23We've got the market in the venue across the street.

00:26We've got more vendors than we've ever had and we've got nothing but intentions on growing the event.

00:32It's for kids, it's for kids at heart, it's for families, it's for anybody who likes Star Wars.

00:39It's for anyone who doesn't like Star Wars, but you know, just might happen to know what it is.

00:44I think these characters are iconic and if you see them on a beach,

00:49you're going to know automatically who Darth Vader is or the Stormtroopers.

00:52And I think it's just an excellent way to get people together just to come and have fun.

00:59Welcome to Naiva, the Star of Edom.

01:02We've got a lot of people just milling around in cosplay, which is great.

01:08So they're taking photos with kids, with families, just adding to the atmosphere,

01:13celebrating the fact that this amazing little part of the coastline was used in the show Andor.

01:19We've got a market across the street where we've got some amazing vendors selling great Star Wars crafts.

01:25And unlike a traditional Comic-Con, we're never going to charge for you to come down to the beach and have a good day with us.
