00:00We're on a mission to give 2 million people all around the world clean water.
00:05This village in Malawi now has clean water, impacting over 1,000 people.
00:11This is the first elite project we're going to be doing and the largest creator collab in history.
00:15Over 3,000 of your favorite creators are all coming together.
00:19With over 3 billion followers combined, this could be one of the largest philanthropy projects in history.
00:26Team Water, all of us teaming up from around the globe.
00:29To get clean water that will last decades to over 2 million people in need.
00:34All starting here in Malawi, let's get away some water.
00:38We just installed this pump.
00:40This is going to be the first time we use it.
00:46So the first cup of water is going to the village team.
00:50Oh, he's downed it.
00:51This entire community used to survive on water collected from puddles like this.
00:56And every drop had to literally be carried by hands.
00:59That's what they do every single day.
01:01What does this water look like?
01:02I mean, look at all that dirt.
01:03If I drank this, would I get sick?
01:05Yes, you probably shouldn't.
01:07I think we can all agree this is very unacceptable.
01:09I mean, look at those chunks of just dirt in this water.
01:11They will no longer happen now that we have that one.
01:13With local leaders, we make sure that clean water is no longer a concern here.
01:17Wow, look how excited they are.
01:19Over a thousand people that live around here are going to be supported by just this pump.
01:24Orkin or Vin, who wants to sub it?
01:25I'm getting tired.
01:26These two have 55 million subscribers combined and are just two of the thousands of creators
01:32that make up Team Water.
01:33Here you go.
01:34That's another water.
01:35Jimmy, is this going to last forever?
01:36As long as this well is maintained, which is obviously what Team Water is going to do,
01:40this well can practically last forever.
01:42The well we started at and this water pump are just the beginning.
01:45Team Water is on a mission to raise $40 million so that we can provide over 2 million people
01:50clean water.
01:51Let's keep going.
01:52Next, we went to South America, where we received an amazing welcome from the people
01:57of Columbia.
01:57You guys are too kind.
01:58You don't have to do this.
01:59Amazingly, the pump for the local water source was designed from spare parts by one man with
02:05no formal training.
02:07You built this with recycled bicycle parts.
02:09Hey.
02:10And this well is what's currently supplying over a thousand people with water.
02:13Hey.
02:13Oh my goodness.
02:15Out this pipe comes water that the communities are drinking.
02:17And at first glance, this water doesn't look too bad.
02:20But really, there are little particles of dirt and more importantly, bacteria that is constantly
02:24getting everyone here very sick.
02:26Which is why, literally right beside the well that Christo made with bicycle parts, we built
02:30this giant water filtration system.
02:32The system filters water in three stages.
02:35This removes dirt, sand, and large particles.
02:37The water is then pumped into here, which removes the bacteria and even smaller particles.
02:40And then it's pumped into here, which removes the saline.
02:42So that fresh water can be pumped through this pipe.
02:45If anyone deserves the first glass of water to come out of this filtration system, it's Christo.
02:50You might guess.
02:51Oh, he's going right for it.
02:52Oh, he's downing it.
02:54Hey, where's the lava?
02:55Do you approve?
02:55Oh, boy, be it.
02:57Mmm.
02:58See?
02:59Yeah.
02:59Hey, aw.
03:02Even YOLO, with over 33 million subscribers, couldn't help himself.
03:05This water is better than in my home.
03:07Team Water is going around the globe with all of your favorite creators, like Mark Rober,
03:12the Stokes Twins, and so many more.
03:14With the mission of bringing clean water, the most basic human right, to millions of people.
03:19We also built this massive water storage container that can hold the equivalent of 20,000 bottles
03:24of water.
03:25And because we brought a ton of reusable bottles, we couldn't wait to share the fresh, clean
03:29water with the community.
03:31Hey, we got water for everybody here.
03:32But unfortunately, nearly one in 10 people don't have access to clean water, which is
03:37why we need your help to raise $40 million.
03:39On average, every dollar donated will provide one person with clean water for an entire year.
03:46To power the water filtration system, we installed a solar farm here.
03:49But we couldn't stop there.
03:51We also have a special surprise for all the little kids.
03:53That's your brand new playground.
03:54They're way more excited about the playground than they were about the water again, though.
03:58We then traveled to the site of an existing clean water project, where more than 100 kids
04:02come to school just to get clean water.
04:04Here you go.
04:06Here you go, little man.
04:07Mash, this one's empty.
04:09But even though this community has access to clean water, there was still a problem.
04:13Since people from over four communities have to walk far to reach the central water source,
04:18we added three tanks nearby for easier access.
04:21I'm going to show you how much walking it's going to save people in the community.
04:25Oh, these jugs are so heavy.
04:26Push.
04:27It's hard to believe.
04:28Nearly one in ten people don't have access to clean water.
04:31So, for every dollar they donate, someone on average will get...
04:34One year of clean water.
04:35Oh my gosh.
04:36Well done, Jimmy.
04:37If I actually can tell, it's very hard to carry water.
04:39Team water goes above and beyond to take care of people.
04:41And of course, we also gave this community a playground.
04:45And then we went just north of India to Nepal, to this small village, where locals hike up
04:50a winding trail to reach this water tap, where they rely on just a piece of cloth to filter their water.
04:56Behind me is one of the three tanks that's going to be providing clean drinking water
04:59to over 300 people in the community.
05:01This tank, when completed, will hold 15,000 liters of water,
05:05paired with a mechanism to clean the water, disinfect it, and make it safe to drink.
05:09Once this is done being built, how long is the tank supposed to service the community for?
05:13Easily for at least 15 to 20 years.
05:15We've teamed with WaterAid, our lead global partner, to help provide clean drinking water.
05:19They also support local governments that handle repair and make sure everything keeps working.
05:24Not only are we providing the project, but we're maintaining it for decades to come.
05:28We should probably get back to work.
05:29Yeah, we should, yeah.
05:30You know, it's going to take over 2,700 kilos of concrete to complete this water tank.
05:34I think I've worked 18 hours today.
05:36But if it means these people get clean drinking water just one day early, I'll work 24.
05:43Don't look me in the eyes doing this, bro.
05:45Those three water tanks will provide clean drinking water to 71 households and around 300 people.
05:50On average, every dollar donated is going to provide clean water for an entire year to someone in need.
05:55Make sure to donate.
05:56And if you're in the United States, you might think this only affects other countries.
05:59But science creator Mark Rober and I are hard at work.
06:02Because in 2022, flooding caused Jackson, Mississippi's entire water system to fail,
06:07which had this assisted living facility struggling.
06:10Having water to brush your teeth, prepare meals for your food, just take a bath.
06:14And to solve this issue, we have a machine that pulls water out of the air?
06:18That's right.
06:18An atmospheric water generator.
06:20And I have no idea what that means, which is why I brought Mark Rober.
06:23What does this do?
06:23So you know how on a really hot day, your glass gets beads of water on the outside?
06:28Yeah, because, like, the water goes through the glass to the outside.
06:30It's not going through the glass, Jimmy.
06:32That water is coming from the air.
06:33This machine cools down the air, and then it can't hold that water anymore.
06:37At which point you collect it in this big tank.
06:39Plus, it purifies it all in the process.
06:41It's basically just squeezing and wringing out air.
06:45How is that humidly possible?
06:46This water is so clean and fresh, you could use it in an operating room.
06:49Yeah, cheers.
06:52Wow.
06:52Science is amazing.
06:54This machine generates enough water for the entire assisted living facility.
06:58And they're going to be giving it to other people in the community who also struggle to get clean water.
07:02Team Water, we are internally grateful for everything.
07:04And Team Water is also partnering with Dig Deep to give the people in Rodel, West Virginia, an updated water system.
07:10In previous years, they've just had a lot of problems with the infrastructure crumbling.
07:14So this should do a lot of good for this community.
07:16All the way over in Ecuador, we're with Ricky Lamone and four of his friends with over 120 million subscribers combined.
07:23And they're going to help clean up the water from this dangerously contaminated river.
07:26Even though it's very beautiful, the water here is dirty.
07:29The river is full of germs like E. coli and Giardia.
07:32And unfortunately for the village, right next to the river, it's the only source of water for them and their children.
07:3734% of kids under five, they got malnutrition and stomach issues.
07:42So to change these kids' lives, we're building filtration for each of the three water storage tanks
07:47using reverse osmosis filters to make the water safe to drink.
07:51Yeah, it comes out completely clear.
07:53It's like magic.
07:55Excelente.
07:55I know that means very good.
07:57Yes, this is very good.
08:00And with some help, we're giving water filtration bags to everyone in the community.
08:04So they can have clean water with them anywhere they go.
08:08Did you tell her what the bag is for?
08:10Yeah, I just told that, bro.
08:12I was just checking.
08:13Thanks to the Amazon Rainforest Investor Coalition for supporting the amazing work that's being done in this video.
08:18Water!
08:19Meanwhile, across the world in Zambia, fitness creator Brownie is at the largest community in this video.
08:25There are a staggering 9,000 people that do not have access to clean water here.
08:30And their only option is to dig shallow wells that often get polluted.
08:33It's not covered.
08:34So when we receive rainfall, there's flooding into this well.
08:37It gets contaminated.
08:38You'll find yourself in the hospital.
08:39So we installed three 10,000 liter water tanks to make sure that every last one of the 9,000 people here have access to clean water.
08:48Is it good?
08:49Yeah, it's good.
08:50Now that these tanks are supplying brand new water stations all around the community, they can finally fill those old unsafe wells.
08:58Let's go.
09:00Putting a stop to this.
09:01The projects you guys saw in this video are just a sample size of what we're going to be doing with Team Water to give 2,000,000 people clean water all around the world.
09:08Five years ago, we did Team Trees, where we raised $20,000,000 to plant 20,000,000 trees.
09:13And three years ago, we did Team Seeds, where we raised $30,000,000 to pull 30,000,000 pounds of trash out of the ocean.
09:17And now we're back with Team Water, only this time it's the audacious goal of $40,000,000.
09:23To give 2,000,000 people all around the world clean water for decades each.
09:27And none of this would be possible without our lead global partner, WaterAid.
09:31If you want to donate, just click the donate button down below, or you can go to teamwater.org, where you can see every single donation, you can leave messages when you donate, you can also see the top donators.
09:38Me and Mark Rober know we can't raise $40,000,000 on our own, which is why you're going to see thousands of creators uploading videos, TikToks, shorts, reels, Instagram photos about Team Water.
09:47And on top of donating, I need you guys to go engage with all of that content.
09:50I need you to share it, I need you to spread the word, I need you to harass your favorite creators to support Team Water.
09:55Do your part to make this a success.
09:56If you're watching this video when it first goes up, you'll notice the counter doesn't start at $0,000, it's starting at $500,000.
10:02That's because Shopify, who powers the Team Water merch store, has stepped up with a $500,000 donation.
10:07Thank you, Shopify.
10:08Also, special thanks to YouTube, who will match the next $2,000,000 donated to Team Water.
10:13So if you donate to Team Water right now, instead of giving someone a year of clean drinking water, you'll actually be giving them two.
