00:00Tempers flared on Wednesday when two Mexican senators shoved each other during a plenary session.

00:07Alejandra Morena-Cardenas, national leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party,

00:12and Gerardo Fernandez-Noronha, the president of the Senate and member of the Morena Party, were seen brawling.

00:19Both blamed the other for starting the aggression.

00:22The brawl came after a tense debate over the presence of U.S. military intervention to fight drug cartels.
