00:00Behind me, you can see the
00:01Bear Gulch Fire. Federal
00:04that two firefighters were
00:06working that fire. And now
00:09want answers. Yeah, we got
00:12This video shows Customs
00:14agents moving in on crews
00:17Bear Gulch Fire in the Olim
00:20dude. King five spoke with
00:23who was there. He wants to
00:26spoke with us over the foo
00:28some some place that I nev
00:32kind of like kind of weird
00:34way, you know, it's one w
00:38out. The firefighter says h
00:40were stunned to see federal
00:43members from the tribe of
00:47and Walla Walla. This is
00:51man. Look at that post it
00:55more shocked when they line
00:57and started taking pictures
00:59of their IDs. Thank you, sir.
01:01Remember you guys get a chance
01:03to exercise your tribal rights.
01:05I mean, I had my ID, but I was
01:06still thinking man, is this
01:08enough proof enough? We have
01:09a different crew over here.
01:10He says the two men who were
01:12arrested are respected crew
01:14members. They're discussing about
01:17fraud hours. CBP confirmed the
01:20two men are being held at a
01:21facility in Bellingham. The agency
01:23says the two are in the country
01:25and one of them has a previous
01:27order of removal. Oh, yeah,
01:28they're good guys. He's been
01:29doing this for a long time.
01:30He has a lot of experience.
01:33He's, uh, everyone loves him.
01:36That kid is just, uh, he just
01:38go goes and he's, uh, you know,
01:40I have a lot of respect for him.
01:41Governor Bob Ferguson says he's
01:43deeply concerned and his team is
01:45pressing federal agencies for answers.
01:47And Senator Patty Murray also
01:49criticized the move, calling it immoral
01:51and dangerous. It's just weird.
01:53You know, like it's scary.
01:54I just don't want to tell people
01:55be safe, man. Like these people
01:57are just doing too much, you know?
01:59And, uh, yeah, man, I just felt
02:01powerless. The Bear Gulch fire has
02:02burned nearly 9000 acres and is
02:05still only 13% contained. It's
02:07expected to burn until winter in
02:09Mason County, Bridget Chavez, King 5 News.
