00:06Treats usually go viral because they're really interesting looking or because they're sponsored, honestly.
00:11But do they ever actually taste good? Today we're gonna find out.
00:14Okay, I know I said, I think I'm officially done with peelers for the rest of my life.
00:18That was before you tagged me in these.
00:20This might be the most satisfying peel candy I have ever seen.
00:25The way the rind separates from the fruit and then on this one you can actually like peel the individual sections of the fruit out.
00:31It's like a little orange.
00:32I think you can only get this brand of candy in Europe.
00:36And so these specific ones were really hard to find but we did hunt down these watermelon ones from Swedish Candy Bros.
00:43So this one I think the rind peels apart but you can also pick out the individual seeds.
00:47It's like a picky pad but you can eat the whole thing.
00:50I'm also curious if like each section of the candy tastes different.

01:36and a bunch of people holding little red flags for some reason.
01:38So we can't just order all of the viral treats because some of them you have to actually physically go to a restaurant or a cafe.
01:44So that's exactly what we're doing and our first one is in California.
01:49They are serving up edible labubus.
01:51It's your favorite milk tea topped with cute fun-shaped jellies.
01:55They have all kinds but I specifically want a labubu.
01:58And to get these we have to go to Quinn's Bakery in Garden Grove, California.
02:02And we got here a little bit early because I was scared because like a week ago apparently people were waiting like over two hours to get one of these.
02:09I hope I get a pink one to match my labubu that I brought.
02:12And we're the only ones here so that's great.

02:17We are full pick as a labubus.
02:19We got a variety of teas to try as well as a variety of labubus.

03:44And it took me a little while to figure out what was actually happening here.
03:47It's this like tub of different types of cereals but they're gooey.
03:51And at first I thought it was marshmallow but I think it's like a melty chocolate sauce.
03:56This snack actually originated in Malaysia and then in 2023 it came to the U.S.
04:01And has just blown up over the last year or so.
04:03So there are tons of different flavors.
04:05We got all of them.

04:08They even come with spoons.

05:47You're supposed to rule your R's when I say that but I've literally never been able to.

05:56It's a Mexican treat but it takes Guadalajara's iconic pink turon which is a chewy like honey
06:02sweet candy.
06:04I guess it usually comes in big blocks and then they slice it up and then it comes with
06:08chamoy and tahin for like a tangy spicy combo and then if you really want to go crazy you
06:13could squeeze some fresh limes over it so that's what we're gonna do.

07:46It's a luxury pastry shop in Los Angeles called Aurora and it's known for desserts so aesthetic it could pass for art or a treat.
07:53And I specifically really want to get some of these super realistic fruit pastries.
07:58But the question is are they just pretty to look at or do they actually taste good?
08:03We're at Aurora Shimmering Delicacies.
08:05This place looks like a whole vibe especially at night when the whole thing's lit up but we decided to get here early before everything sells out.
08:12There's already a ton of people in there though.
08:14Hopefully they still have some good stuff left.

08:17I really want one of those realistic looking orange pastries.

10:32This company brings authentic Chinese treats to other countries and this is the banana filled bread and it's supposed to be a banana bread that you can peel like a real banana.
10:42According to the website each one contains a natural banana powder that is equivalent to eating half a real banana.
10:48And it's a special variety of banana grown in Tian Bu, China.
10:51And then on the inside is a banana flavored cream so you've got to really like banana to enjoy this one.
10:57Wait they're cute.
10:58They're a lot bigger than I was expecting.
11:01Curious to see if I enjoy this as much as a peelable candy.
11:05Or you know what they kind of remind me of?
11:06The Wonka Pops that we made one time.
11:09The popsicles that peel.

11:11It's definitely like authentic banana color and pretty accurate to size.

11:52Next I'm taking you to Koreatown in California to investigate Okobing shaved ice.
11:58This is a modern dessert shop that takes Korean shaved ice to the next level.
12:02They specialize in something called a bingsu.
12:04And it's a shaved ice that's made with an ultra fine super fluffy ice that's shaved from frozen milk.
12:10And unlike traditional versions it sounds incredible.
12:13Okay we made it.
12:14So my wish list for this one is I want the giant melon one because the presentation is absolutely incredible.
12:19And then I think I want little versions of the strawberry and the tiramisu ones because those look amazing as well.
12:25This place is packed even though it's like 3 p.m.
12:28It was so cool to watch them make this in real time.
12:32And we did get all three things on my wish list.
12:35Starting with the strawberry.
12:36I was shocked how creamy this is.
12:38I was expecting kind of like an icy texture but it really melts in your mouth.
12:42And the condensed milk that you pour over the top is a nice touch.
12:44The tiramisu one was good but it was mostly just vanilla flavor.
12:47I wish there was more Oreos but the cocoa powder and the espresso topping was nice.
12:52And the main event the mango melon.
12:55It's mango ice in a melon with condensed milk on the top.
12:58It was very good.
13:00There's no way I would be able to eat this whole thing by myself.
13:02I really liked this stuff especially the strawberry one.
13:05So I'm gonna give this one second place.
13:08This next one is from Amos Sweets.
13:10And if that sounds familiar it's because they are the same company that makes these peelers gummies.
13:15Which I have gone on an emotional rollercoaster ride with these peelers.
13:20And I do finally have to say the mango ones peel the best.
13:23After trying literally all of them.
13:26Anyway it literally is like the same dopamine rush of opening a Labubu blind box but in a candy.
13:32Because they are like a clear square shell of gummy.
13:36And then you open it up and there's colorful little animals inside.
13:39I think it's so cool.

18:47If you're not familiar with Fun Dip, it was like a pouch and you had like a candy stick
18:51that you would lick and dip in a sour powder.
18:54I used to love them when I was a kid.
18:55But this comes with mango strips instead of a candy stick.
19:00And then it has a sour dipping powder.
19:02Not just one, but three actually.
19:04And they're all different sour levels.
19:07So cute.
19:09Oh my gosh, they're like huge.

19:14So you can buy a level one, two, or three and you have the most sour one.
19:18That's what I would have picked anyway.

20:42They felt like the coolest invention back in the day and then they just kind of like quietly
20:46disappeared, but they have been brought back from the dead apparently, but new company,
20:50I believe.
20:51These are called Tasty Sounds and they're by Amos Sweets.
20:55Just Amos giving us the funnest candies.
20:57So same idea, you just put it in your mouth and it uses a bone conduction technology to
21:02make it so supposedly only you can hear the music and nobody around you can, which is
21:06so cool.
21:07I never tried the ones back in the day, so I'm excited to try these.
21:11There also used to be, I don't know if they're still around, but those toothbrushes that kind
21:15of did the same thing.
21:16I don't know if they still make up.
21:17I never had one when I was a kid, but today we're living the dream.

22:42And there is one place in particular in Las Vegas that has become a hotspot for Instagram

22:50St. Honoré Donuts.
22:51This is a local donut place that's known for its couture donuts.
22:54It's women owned.
22:56They look absolutely beautiful.
22:57And they've also expanded to like pizza and milkshakes and stuff.
23:00So my wish list from this place is a creme brulee donut, a piece of pizza, pepperoni
23:05preferably.
23:05And then something pretty, like a unicorn donut or something, or maybe something trendy.

23:11Also, is it just a normal thing in Vegas for every business to have like a luxury car with
23:16their logo on it?
23:16Because Smoke and Teas has a BMW.

23:21What does St. Honoré have?
23:23I was so excited to see the creme brulee donut in the case.
23:26So of course I got that, as well as this Dubai chocolate one.
23:30I mean, how could I not?
23:30Although in typical Dubai chocolate form, this was a $10 donut.
23:35I also got this cannoli one because it looked fun and ordered some pepperoni pizza.
23:38They made a whole pizza fresh just for us.
23:40Which one should I try first?
23:41Creme brulee because it was first on my list.

23:49I know it sounds dramatic, but that might be the best donut I've ever had in my life.

23:53I've had a lot of other creme brulee donuts, but the caramel is just so thick on this one.

25:09Overall, I would say this place is like a visit at once kind of thing, but I don't know if I'll be back.
25:13I do love a donut, but there's just so many good donut places out there that are less expensive, so it's not making the podium this time.
25:21We have made and tried some weird chocolate bars on this channel, but this next one is next level.
25:28Here's the original creator.
25:29So it is this like super dark chocolate, but she breaks it open to reveal this like clear goo and M&Ms, I think.
25:37It makes me so uncomfy, but it's also like mesmerizing and I have to try it.
25:42So I did some digging to see if you can purchase this candy bar.
25:45I don't think you can because I came across this video and Mae Thomas tells us how to make it.
25:51So I'm pretty sure everybody's just DIYing it.
25:53But since we made that dragon's beard chocolate, I know how to make chocolate filled things now.
25:57So I don't think this will be that difficult.
25:59I was so curious what the clear goo is though, and it's not craft glue.
26:03It's not some weird breed of honey.
26:05It's actually glucose.
26:07I didn't even know you could just buy glucose like this.
26:11And if you're wondering what it's for, I guess it's used to make fondant or you can like coat stuff to give it like a shiny finish.
26:17But today we're just dumping it in a chocolate bar.
26:20I don't recommend doing this at home, by the way, unless you really want to spike your blood sugar levels.

26:25So we already have our chocolate molds nice and frozen, so they are ready to be glucosed.
