00:00so over here you can see that I am in the home page of WordPress.com and if I

00:15were to go around on to a particular page let's say for example and then go

00:19around on to the contact section right here then this is what you have as you

00:23can see and then on the top you can actually see that the address says

00:27tututubesample.wordpress.com contact 3 so the contact 3 that you see is

00:33actually the slug for this piece and is the link so let's say I want to go ahead

00:38and change up the slug so let's just go around on to my dashboard and edit out

00:42this particular piece itself so let's just go around on to the piece and then

00:47edit out the contact right here and once I go ahead and click that what happens is

00:52that it opens up this piece and now you can go around on to the settings for it

00:57so over here you can see that this is the slug the slug is contact 3 as you

01:01can see right here but you can also go around and change up the name to let's

01:05say for example contact page right here and now this becomes the slug for this

01:10particular piece and you can see that it shows the permanent link for this

01:14particular piece that is the permanent link along with the slug so now once I go

01:20ahead and then save this out and preview you can see that the slug for the space

01:26and the permanent link is this as you can see right here and then that is how you

01:31can go ahead and change the link out and that is how you can utilize these slugs to

01:36change up the permanent link of a particular piece inside of WordPress.com so I
