A section of the Tawi River bridge near Bikram Chowk in Jammu collapsed after relentless rains battered the region, leaving several vehicles stranded. The Jammu region has been hit by its heaviest rainfall in decades since Monday night, crippling road connectivity, damaging bridges, and submerging vast areas. In Doda, a cloudburst killed four people and destroyed more than 10 houses, forcing many residents to move to safer locations.
