Ever wondered what would happen if a spoiled rich kid got thrown into one of the roughest prisons in America… for a crime he didn’t commit? Let’s Go to Prison flips the justice system upside down in this hilarious American comedy that’s part prison survival guide, part revenge masterpiece. In this movie recap, we break down how a man goes from courtroom to cellblock—and learns the hard way that money can’t save you when you’re locked up with real criminals.

This might sound like a comedy, but under the laughs is a real story about payback, justice, and adapting to a brutal world with your sanity (and dignity) intact. What starts as a setup turns into a full-blown war of wits and fists—with every inmate using their own secret fighting technique just to survive. Whether it’s dodging bullies, bribing guards, or going head-to-head with the prison boss, this is where we show you how to beat the system before it breaks you.

You’ll get the full ending explained, see all the behind-the-scenes twists, and find out why this classic prison comedy still hits hard for fans of Big Stan, Let’s Go Prison style movies, and chaotic justice tales with a punch.

And yes, this is American to the core—featuring savage humor, brutal cellblock justice, and the kind of over-the-top prison brawls only a comedy like this can deliver.

00:00So what's a beautiful white boy like you doing in a place like this?
00:06It's the biggest fight yet at the Wreckyard in Rossmoor State Penitentiary.
00:10John draws first blood, and things escalate when Nelson pulls out a screwdriver,
00:15but his cellmate comes prepared too, revealing a whole collection of shivs strapped under his waistband.
00:20He flings one at Biederman, who ducks just in time.
00:23They charge at each other, but it turns into more of a grappling match as they both hit the floor.
00:28Lashitsky gains an edge and stabs him, only for the blade to snap.
00:32Turns out the newbie's been wearing stolen license plates under his uniform,
00:35and even John has to respect the move.
00:37Wow, that is so cool.
00:39I saw Dressman at a credit cards in Vanity Fair a couple years ago.
00:42That's what gave me the idea.
00:44I like it. I got one for you.
00:46And one man who's seen the worst of it is John Lashitsky.
00:50He's been in and out since age eight,
00:52starting off by stealing a publisher's clearinghouse prize van right in the middle of their celebration,
00:56then walking straight into a bank with a billboard-sized check like it was a regular Tuesday.
01:01Cops didn't even sweat, just caught him, and dragged him straight to Judge Nelson Biederman III.
01:07The judge found him guilty, slapped him with seven years in juvie,
01:10and added some insults to go with it, calling him a waste of space.
01:13Lashitsky just scowled while the judge hammered the gavel,
01:17kicking off what would become a long-term relationship with prison.
01:20A few years later, out on the streets and already too old for juvie,
01:23he tried robbing two cops, point-blank range, and still missed.
01:28Moments later, guess who?
01:30He's standing in front of Judge Biederman again,
01:32with the same courtroom, same lecture, and back to the same cell.
01:35At 24, he gets out, enjoys six months of freedom,
01:38then steals a car and lands right back inside.
01:41The speech this time is on car theft 101,
01:44and it's not just the sentences that get to him.
01:46It's how the man never stops pointing out how dumb he is.
01:48So, this time, after being let out,
01:51Lashitsky's got a plan because he doesn't mind going back in,
01:54but not before settling things with the old man.
01:57He rings the courthouse,
01:58pretending to be someone interested in sitting in on a case,
02:01and they tell him Judge Biederman's gone,
02:02not retired, but dead gone.
02:04The guy damn near crushes the phone in his hand,
02:06as if he'd gotten out just a few days earlier.
02:08He could have done something.
02:09Now it's too late.
02:10So he leaves the booth,
02:11fires a few rounds into it for good measure,
02:13then goes to a bar to cool off.
02:15That's where he sees a newspaper article about the late judge's son,
02:18Nelson Biederman IV,
02:19and just like that,
02:20he figures if he can't get the father,
02:23the son will do just fine.
02:25Next thing,
02:25he shows up at the Biederman Foundation event,
02:28honoring the late judge.
02:29While the son takes the stage
02:30and gives a stiff speech about legacy and justice
02:33that has folks staring like they're watching a weird ad,
02:36Lashitsky sneaks into his car and makes a mess.
02:39Once it's over,
02:40Nelson IV hops into his car
02:42and heads to the office with some important folks waiting for him.
02:46He has no idea his drink's been flavored with someone else's spit,
02:49but it does taste funky enough to gag.
02:51Still,
02:51he's on the phone mid-rant,
02:53saying things you shouldn't say
02:54when there's a speakerphone on and an audience around.
02:57Then comes the stereo blasting loud
02:59as he stays totally unaware
03:00that the guy driving alongside him
03:02is the same one who just laced his cup,
03:05the criminal just waiting for round two.
03:07Nelson's asthma kicks up
03:08and he grabs for his inhaler only to find it's empty,
03:11thanks to John,
03:12who emptied it back at the event.
03:14Panic hits and he's wheezing,
03:16gasping,
03:16swerving into a pharmacy lot
03:18where he stumbles inside without a word.
03:20The old couple behind the counter
03:21assumes the worst that they're being robbed,
03:24and a bad one at that.
03:25He's tearing through shelves,
03:26knocking things over,
03:28sending boxes flying,
03:29but finally lands one inhaler that he lifts,
03:32trying to show them he's not a threat.
03:34But just as he does,
03:35John fires a shot in the air from outside.
03:37The old man hears it,
03:38sees Nelson holding something up,
03:40thinks it's a gun,
03:41hits the panic button,
03:42and the old lady fires.
03:43That's game,
03:44and it's mission complete
03:45because the judge's golden boy
03:46is going down for armed robbery.
03:48Now, the guy is locked up,
03:50yelling at his lawyer Duane,
03:51but the footage clearly shows him
03:53ransacking the pharmacy.
03:54So, his best bet is pleading guilty
03:56to get a lighter sentence.
03:58Worst part is he's also got to step down
04:00as chairman of the Biederman Foundation.
04:02The lawyer makes the call
04:03with everyone on the board
04:04listening on speaker,
04:05and one guy suggests calling in a favor
04:07from the governor,
04:08but Duane shuts it down quickly.
04:10Everyone agrees it's better
04:11to take a break from Nelson anyway,
04:13so the attorney takes over for now.
04:15In court,
04:15he tries to sweet talk Judge Eva
04:17before the trial,
04:18throwing around his connections and status,
04:20but she isn't having it.
04:22She tells him to sit and wait
04:24like everybody else.
04:25People like you make me sick,
04:26and I don't want your dracar noir
04:28stinking up my courtroom.
04:30Prosecution, present your case.
04:31The trial begins with a jury
04:33that looks like they got picked
04:35during a mall raffle.
04:36Twelve people who don't seem like
04:38they've had a serious thought all week
04:39and are just excited to be there.
04:41The prosecution rolls the footage,
04:43and the attorney gets up
04:44for his client's defense,
04:45walks to the jury,
04:46and mumbles something about Jurassic Park
04:48with no context.
04:50No connection.
04:51Just a random movie reference
04:53that confuses everyone,
04:54including Nelson.
04:55That's the end of it,
04:56as they find him guilty of felony assault.
04:58Judge Eva gives him three to five years
05:01in Rossmore State Penitentiary.
05:03And just like that,
05:04John finally sees the man
05:05walk the same path
05:07his father made him walk
05:08over and over again.
05:09He cheers from the back,
05:11but once the noise dies down,
05:12it still doesn't feel like enough.
05:14Later, he's sitting with his boys,
05:16smoking,
05:16clearly not satisfied,
05:18and one suggests magic potion,
05:19but John's looking for something deeper.
05:22Then, two men knock,
05:23wanting to buy some action,
05:24and while he knows they're cops,
05:26he lets them in anyway
05:27and sells to them.
05:28Once they leave,
05:28he tells his friends to clear out
05:30as he already knows what's coming.
05:32He's going back to prison,
05:33and that's the whole point.
05:34At arraignment,
05:35he skips the drama,
05:36pleads guilty,
05:36and requests Rossmore specifically.
05:39So the judge keeps it short,
05:40grants the wish,
05:41and bangs the gavel.
05:42Nelson, still in holding,
05:44ends up on the same prison transfer as John.
05:46The ride over's awkward,
05:47but the seasoned criminal
05:48keeps it friendly and asks his name,
05:50saying he hopes they end up as cellmates
05:52and promising to be nice.
05:54I don't snore,
05:55and I'm a pretty quiet masturbator.
05:57Hell, I'll even give you the top bunk.
05:59At the prison,
06:00the new inmates line up
06:01for the warden's welcome speech,
06:03which is painfully dry and sadistic,
06:05as he tells them not to talk,
06:07not to complain,
06:08and if they think something's unfair,
06:10they should keep it to themselves
06:11because he absolutely does not care.
06:13John, who's already greased the right palms,
06:15gets to share a cell with Nelson.
06:17He finally knows what makes life meaningful,
06:19and that's waking up every day
06:21with a front row seat
06:22to mess with Biederman for however he wants.
06:24The new friends step into their cell,
06:26and just one look at the cruddy can
06:28has the privileged kid breaking down crying,
06:30but the man who's been through this routine
06:32too many times
06:33warns him to cut it out fast.
06:36If he doesn't toughen up,
06:37he's going to get eaten alive.
06:38The attempt to look tough that follows
06:40is so shaky it cracks up
06:42both the veteran and the male guy passing by.
06:44So begins life inside
06:46for the fourth generation Biederman,
06:48his first time doing time,
06:49while for his bunkmate,
06:50it's just another Tuesday.
06:52At lunch, they head to the canteen together,
06:54and the more experienced of the two
06:56starts tossing out random prison trivia,
06:58throwing in a few
06:59did-you-knows
07:00while pointing out Lennard,
07:02one of the gang's shot callers,
07:03the White Kingdom.
07:04When the rookie asks
07:05how he knows all this,
07:06he shrugs
07:07and credits it to his male subscriptions,
07:10claiming everything worth knowing
07:11finds its way to him.
07:13Things take a wild turn
07:14when the senior inmate
07:15tells his new cellmate
07:16to get up exactly at quarter past 12,
07:18but instead of listening,
07:20the newbie launches into a story
07:22about high school
07:23or something equally pointless.
07:25Before he finishes,
07:26Lennard pounces on another inmate
07:28and sends him crashing onto their table,
07:30then follows it up with a knife.
07:31While the lifer slides out of harm's way,
07:33the rookie just sits there frozen
07:35until he finally catches the cue
07:37to signal who started the mess
07:38when the guards come running.
07:40He automatically enters Lennard's bad book
07:42for snitching,
07:43with John scolding him back in the cell
07:44even though he made him do it.
07:46Now he's going on about Biederman
07:48needing to listen if he wants to survive,
07:50saying stuff like
07:51look out for your cellmate
07:52when the real rule in there
07:53is not to trust a damn soul.
07:55In the bathroom,
07:56while everyone's showering,
07:57Barry,
07:58the big black hairy guy
07:59who runs the G-Lords,
08:01walks up to the new guy
08:02looking to claim him,
08:03but John steps warning him
08:05and his crew to back off.
08:06Then he calls dibs on Biederman,
08:08marking him as his property
08:09and officially off limits.
08:11To seal the deal,
08:12he sticks a hand in Biederman's rear
08:14just to drive the point home.
08:16Later,
08:16Dwayne visits
08:17and Nelson tries to get him
08:18to work his release,
08:19but he's quickly reminded
08:20that with his position gone
08:22at the Biederman Foundation,
08:23he no longer controls any funds.
08:26The lawyer throws in a jab or two,
08:28then dials it back
08:29to avoid sounding like
08:31he's enjoying the downfall,
08:32but not before teasing him
08:34with his favorite drink,
08:35a fresca.
08:35John, on the other hand,
08:37is bringing his version of hell,
08:38making sure the guy's time inside
08:40comes with regular headaches
08:42from getting punched every other day
08:44by the guy in the next cell
08:45who collects a pack of smokes per hit,
08:47to having his food served
08:48with a used rubber inside.
08:50In the bathroom,
08:51while the new guy sits pretty
08:52in one corner,
08:53legs crossed and filing his nails
08:55like he booked a spa appointment,
08:57Barry shows up.
08:58The G-Lord's boss wants a taste,
09:00and John doesn't say no,
09:01but his price is firm.
09:03Half an ounce of grass
09:04and four packs of smokes.
09:06It's steeped by prison standards,
09:08though Barry says he'll come through.
09:09Earlier, John had arranged
09:10with Officer Shanahan
09:11to help set things up,
09:13getting him to call
09:13a fake request
09:14that had leave the cell door
09:15unlocked with Nelson alone inside.
09:18The new guy panics,
09:19but gets told it's nothing serious,
09:21just relax.
09:22And seconds later,
09:23the G-Lords grab him,
09:24shove a paper bag over his head,
09:26and drag him off to Barry's cell.
09:28Barry welcomes him
09:29with his special toilet drink
09:30and a casual speech,
09:31trying to ease him into it.
09:33He shares weird stories
09:34like they're old friends,
09:35but Nelson's too scared
09:37to even breathe steady.
09:38Eventually, Barry tells him
09:40he won't lay a finger on him,
09:41at least not today.
09:42Same way a gentleman
09:43tells his date
09:44he's not rushing things,
09:45then leans in
09:46and asks for an Eskimo kiss.
09:48Biederman's still trembling,
09:49goes along,
09:50and he's let go,
09:51but not before Barry drops
09:53his version of a relationship rule.
09:54He'll do whatever he wants to him,
09:57whenever he feels like it.
09:58He picks up a new habit,
09:59journaling the mess
10:00he's been through.
10:01Today, he's on the floor,
10:02back against the steel bars,
10:04scribbling into his notebook,
10:05when one of Leonard's guys
10:06walks up and starts
10:07peeing right on the pages.
10:09No apology,
10:10just a warning,
10:11that Leonard's getting
10:12out of the hole soon,
10:13and when he does,
10:14things are about to get
10:15a whole lot worse.
10:16Back in the cell,
10:17John lets him know the truth
10:18that Leonard's not gonna
10:19kill him quick,
10:20and he'll beat him over and over.
10:22Stretch it out,
10:23then maybe finish the job
10:24months from now,
10:25if he feels like it.
10:26At the cafeteria,
10:27it only gets worse.
10:29John's going on
10:29about how inmates
10:30are already placing bets
10:32with Shanahan on
10:33when and how
10:33he'll get taken out,
10:35but somehow,
10:36the new guy decides
10:37the best move
10:38is to go reason
10:39with Leonard himself.
10:40His bunkie actually
10:41encourages it,
10:42even though he knows
10:43that's not good.
10:44So he walks up
10:45to the gang's table
10:46and starts trying
10:47to give some heartfelt speech
10:48and barely gets halfway in
10:50before the scary guy
10:51jabs a fork into his thigh,
10:53just above the knee.
10:54Then, he calmly grabs another
10:55and does the same
10:56to the other leg.
10:57While he's hunched over
10:58and whimpering,
10:59Nelson tries to hope
11:00maybe this'll count
11:01for something,
11:02like maybe getting stabbed
11:03twice buys him some mercy.
11:04Leonard even admits
11:05it took guts
11:06to walk up like that,
11:07says the only other man
11:08who ever did
11:09was his own dad,
11:10who he ended up killing.
11:11So, yeah,
11:12the new guy's still
11:12on the hit list,
11:13but he does get
11:14to live a little longer.
11:15He eventually yanks
11:15the forks out himself
11:17and calls it a day,
11:18leaving Nelson
11:18to limp back to the table,
11:20where he tells his buddy
11:21his execution's been delayed,
11:23unaware of his pal
11:24signaling Shanahan
11:25that the odds have changed.
11:27Later in the cell,
11:28John lays out his options.
11:29Curl up and die.
11:30Fight the gang boss
11:31or just wait for the end.
11:33None of those sound great,
11:34so he suggests a fourth.
11:35Apply for a private cell.
11:37That sounds like gold,
11:38but before he can ask
11:39what it takes,
11:40John tosses a ball
11:41to draw a guard's attention,
11:42ducks behind him,
11:44and socks the guard
11:45square in the face,
11:46which earns the judge's son
11:47a ticket to the hole.
11:48Two days in that box
11:50and the guy's fried
11:51with no windows,
11:52no sense of time,
11:53nothing,
11:54but his own thoughts
11:54turning to noise.
11:56By the time the guards
11:56pull him out
11:57and walk him back
11:58to his cell,
11:59he's drained and shaking,
12:00convinced he's not
12:01going to survive this place.
12:03He stops by one
12:04of the regulars in the yard,
12:05a guy who runs
12:06his little black market hustle
12:07with pride,
12:08says he's got something
12:09for every kind of pain.
12:11Nelson doesn't ask
12:12too many questions,
12:13just says he wants out,
12:14not a breakout,
12:15just something to make
12:16the weight of the sentence
12:17go quiet.
12:18The vendor thinks for a second,
12:19then digs through a stash
12:20and pulls out a bottle
12:21marked for boat cleaning,
12:23explaining,
12:23it gets the job done fast.
12:26Back in the cell,
12:27John spots Leinard's crew
12:28heading their way
12:29and dips without a word.
12:30Seconds later,
12:31the gang's inside
12:32and the leader tells
12:33the others to wait outside
12:34as he wants this one
12:36to himself.
12:37He starts swinging
12:38straight away,
12:39but Nelson doesn't fold.
12:40He blocks a few,
12:41lands some of his own,
12:43and when the cramped space
12:44won't let him move properly,
12:45he climbs the top bunk
12:47and starts throwing kicks
12:49from above.
12:50It works for a minute
12:51as he's landing shots
12:52and keeping the upper hand
12:53until daddy's killer
12:54shrugs it off
12:55and gets ready
12:56to pounce again.
12:57The scuffle knocks
12:58over something from the bunk,
12:59a syringe already filled
13:00with the boat cleaner.
13:02Leinard pauses
13:02when he spots it,
13:03asks what it is,
13:04and the other guy
13:05gives it a name
13:05off the top of his head,
13:07not thinking much of it,
13:08whatever makes it sound
13:09like it's for getting high.
13:10The gang leader's told
13:11not to touch it,
13:12but of course,
13:13he doesn't listen
13:14and jabs it in
13:15without flinching.
13:16Just like that,
13:16the problem solves itself.
13:18The cheering outside the cell
13:19dies off
13:20as the new hero
13:21drags the dead body out
13:23with that look of someone
13:24who just earned their stripes
13:25and it works
13:26as the rest of the gang
13:27back off fast.
13:28John steps in,
13:29acting like he's on his side,
13:31then mentions
13:32killing a man inside
13:33can tack on 20 extra years.
13:36But Nelson just smirks
13:37and says he didn't kill anyone,
13:39holding up the same syringe
13:40the dead man used on himself.
13:42That's when John slips
13:43and says something out loud
13:44that hints
13:44this wasn't exactly
13:45how he planned things.
13:47The other man catches it
13:48and asks what he just heard.
13:50But the veteran dodges,
13:51brushing it off.
13:52At the canteen,
13:53he strolls in with Lishitsky
13:54and the whole place goes quiet.
13:56One of the White Kingdom boys
13:57comes up from behind,
13:58which makes him turn around quick
14:00with a fork already up.
14:01Turns out,
14:02the guy's not picking a fight.
14:04He's offering an olive branch
14:05on behalf of the crew
14:06because Leinard
14:07wasn't much of a team player anyway.
14:09John can't believe it
14:10as this wasn't the plan.
14:12Now the guy's got respect
14:13and no clue what to do with it.
14:15To prove it's real,
14:16John tells an inmate
14:17to stand so the new boss can sit.
14:20And when the guy does,
14:21Nelson lets loose
14:22a few insults for good measure.
14:24The inmate just walks off.
14:26And while that moment right there
14:27gives the guy a rush,
14:29Lishitsky, on the other hand,
14:30realizes his own setup
14:32just backfired.
14:33Later, the boss heads
14:34to the toilet to take a leak,
14:35only to bump into Barry again,
14:37still claiming they're a thing.
14:38When B leans in
14:39with his usual moves,
14:40the guy shoves him hard,
14:42followed with two punches
14:43to the face.
14:44Barry snaps and grabs his neck,
14:46choking him.
14:47But Nelson manages to appeal
14:48to whatever feelings
14:49Barry still thinks they share
14:51and finally gets free.
14:52He even throws out his arms
14:54for a hug,
14:54which Barry takes
14:55without hesitation.
14:57But before they even touch,
14:58the White Kingdom rushes in,
15:00having caught wind
15:01of the whole thing.
15:02And they dogpile Barry.
15:03The boss intervenes,
15:04shouting for them
15:05to back off.
15:06But by the time the guards
15:07show up and see the mess,
15:08they take one look
15:09and blame John,
15:11who's been watching
15:11the whole thing
15:12from a corner.
15:13Just like that,
15:13they throw him in the hole.
15:15By the time he's out,
15:16the whole place is changed.
15:18His roommate's now
15:19the one everyone looks up to,
15:20running karate sessions,
15:21cracking jokes in the yard
15:22with a full audience,
15:24even getting put in charge
15:25of the prison theater group
15:26that Leszczycki's part of.
15:28Eventually,
15:29Nelson decides
15:29to show gratitude,
15:31starts going on
15:32about how much he's learned
15:33and how he wouldn't have survived
15:34without his cellmate.
15:35That alone ticks John off.
15:37And as soon as he's alone,
15:39the veteran goes off
15:40kicking over stuff,
15:41smashing what he can,
15:43wrecking the whole cell
15:44in frustration.
15:45This isn't what he signed up for
15:47when he traded his freedom
15:48for time behind bars.
15:50Meanwhile,
15:51Barry and Top Dog
15:52are close now.
15:53Real close.
15:54One day,
15:54the big guy suggests
15:55they should sip
15:56some toilet wine.
15:57Maybe rough up a newbie or two,
15:59but the White Kingdom leader passes,
16:01which Barry doesn't take too well
16:03as he starts whining
16:04about how his friend
16:05never wants to hang out anymore.
16:06Left alone in Barry's cell,
16:08John walks in
16:09with a can of Fresca
16:10and a full speech,
16:11talking about how far he's come,
16:12how proud he is,
16:14and how he hopes
16:14the upcoming hearing
16:15goes in his favor.
16:17Calls it a parting gift
16:18from a trusted comrade.
16:19The drink's already cracked open,
16:21which sets off alarm bells.
16:23John gets all offended,
16:24swears he'd never heard him,
16:26and says the opened can
16:27is just him being thoughtful.
16:29He even takes a sip himself
16:31to calm suspicions,
16:32guilt-tripping him
16:33with the whole
16:34how-could-you-think-that-of-me routine.
16:36It works,
16:37and Nelson takes the drink back
16:38and chugs it.
16:39Bad move,
16:39because the drink was spiked.
16:41Minutes later,
16:42he's out cold,
16:43and cellmate,
16:44calm as ever,
16:45hits his own gag reflex
16:46to purge the same stuff
16:47from his system,
16:48then quietly calls in backup
16:50for the next phase.
16:51Next morning,
16:52Nelson's taken to court
16:53for his hearing.
16:54He tries to explain
16:55how jail has changed him
16:56and how he's reformed,
16:57but there's a giant offensive tattoo
16:59sprawled across his forehead,
17:01courtesy of his loving cellmate,
17:03and he's the last to know.
17:05The whole court can see it,
17:07and with that look alone,
17:08his speech goes nowhere.
17:10The panel denies his early release
17:11and instead recommends
17:12he serve every day
17:14of his sentence.
17:15He comes back to the cell fuming,
17:16ready to tear someone apart.
17:18The second he steps in,
17:19he lunges at John
17:20and they go at it,
17:22both throwing fists
17:23until the veteran
17:23gains the upper hand.
17:25While pinning him
17:25against the bars,
17:26he drops the truth
17:27that he knew Judge Biederman,
17:29and he blames that man
17:30for ruining his life,
17:31locking him up
17:32every chance he got
17:33and that's why
17:33he went for the son.
17:34But the judge's kid breaks free,
17:36flips John,
17:37and slams his head
17:38into the bunk.
17:39That's when Shanahan
17:40barges in with backup,
17:42but instead of breaking it up,
17:43the senior officer grins
17:44and schedules a fight
17:45between them,
17:46framing it as a one-round
17:48no-rules match
17:49where the winner
17:49gets a bullet prize.
17:51Either way,
17:51this story ends in body bags.
17:53From that moment,
17:54the guards assign someone
17:55to monitor them
17:56round the clock
17:57just to keep them
17:58from killing each other
17:59before fight night.
18:00The bets start flying.
18:02Officers,
18:02inmates,
18:03everyone's got money
18:04on the line.
18:05Even the warden
18:05hears about it,
18:06though not through
18:07any formal channel.
18:08John takes it all in
18:09with pride,
18:10feeling like he nailed
18:11every step
18:12of his revenge plan.
18:13He just regrets one thing,
18:15and that's sharing
18:16a cell with the target.
18:17Then comes visiting time,
18:19and the surprise guest
18:20is Barry.
18:21The big guy's out,
18:22but he couldn't stay away
18:23as life outside
18:24without his baby
18:25just didn't work.
18:26He mentions he's
18:26thought about
18:27catching a charge
18:28just to land back inside
18:29and the visit
18:30gets emotional,
18:31at least on one side
18:32with Nelson calling him
18:33the closest thing
18:34to family he's got left.
18:35Barry swears
18:36he'll do anything for him,
18:37and that's perfect
18:38because the inmates
18:39got just the job.
18:40Across town,
18:41Dwayne's kicking back,
18:42playing golf in the office
18:43when the phone rings.
18:44It's the judge's son,
18:46and he wants out,
18:46but Dwayne reminds him
18:47he's got no legal cards
18:49to play anymore,
18:50so the prisoner
18:50has another idea.
18:51Turns out,
18:52the foundation charter
18:53allows his son
18:54to inherit the role
18:55if Nelson can't serve,
18:57and, well,
18:58he's adopted someone new.
18:59That's how Barry
19:00storms into the office,
19:02all 300 pounds of love,
19:04and tells Dwayne
19:04to get lost
19:05because the chairman's seat
19:06now belongs to him.
19:07The warden calls for Shanahan,
19:09and after his usual
19:10stiff brand of humor,
19:11he places a bet
19:12like everyone else.
19:13The fight's been on
19:14for a while now
19:15with John hovering
19:15over his opponent
19:16before he smears
19:17part of his shirt
19:18soaked in industrial cleaner
19:19across the other guy's face,
19:22throwing him off balance
19:22just enough to land
19:24a few solid kicks.
19:25Now, both of them
19:26whip out syringes,
19:27scrambling to jab each other.
19:28Then, suddenly,
19:29Biederman switches things up,
19:30says they should quit the drama
19:32and call it a draw.
19:33They seem to agree,
19:34and he gives a short speech
19:35about the one big thing
19:37he's learned.
19:38Never trust anybody.
19:39He lunges forward
19:40and injects Lyshitzky,
19:41but the other man
19:42jabs him back
19:43at the same time.
19:44They both drop flat,
19:45motionless,
19:46and Shanahan fires a warning shot
19:47to scatter the crowd,
19:49then steps aside
19:49as the med team arrives
19:51and declares both men dead.
19:52Cut to the burial
19:53where after the last handful
19:55of dirt is thrown,
19:56the Biederman Foundation
19:57hands over control
19:58to Nelson's only surviving son,
20:00Barry.
20:01Once the mourners leave,
20:02the big guy
20:03digs up the grave
20:04and pulls out the man inside.
20:06Alive and well,
20:07all has been part of the plan.
20:09The moment Shanahan told them
20:10their fate was sealed
20:11either way,
20:12they worked something out.
20:13Nelson visited the usual vendor
20:15and picked up a liquid
20:16that knocks a man out cold
20:18for three straight days.
20:19That's what they injected,
20:20and the medical staff
20:22had been paid off
20:23by Barry.
20:24As they stand
20:25over the second grave,
20:26Nelson contemplates
20:27leaving his cellmate
20:28in there to rot,
20:29but it's the fat man's
20:30soft side that cuts through.
20:32He tells him
20:32not to tempt karma,
20:33and after some back and forth,
20:35they shake hands
20:36as whatever grudge
20:37they had dies there.
20:38Fast forward a year,
20:39and the couple now runs
20:40Baby Duck Wine,
20:41the worst tasting product
20:42at the wine expo.
20:43One of the judges
20:44is seconds away
20:45from torching their ratings
20:46when Ken,
20:47formerly John,
20:48steps up with two former inmates
20:50perched at a corner,
20:52intimidating enough
20:52to change the score instantly.
20:54Everyone in the room
20:55takes a sip,
20:56holds it down,
20:57and nods in slow agony.
20:59But that's fine,
21:00as Nelson John and Barry
21:01are living the dream.
