Samvatsari is the most important day of Paryushana, the holiest Jain festival. Observed mainly by the Shwetambara sect, it is a day of introspection, forgiveness, and spiritual purification. The central ritual is “Pratikraman”, where devotees reflect on their actions, seek forgiveness for mistakes, and resolve to live with compassion and non-violence. On this day, Jains say “Micchami Dukkadam”, meaning “May all the wrongs done by me be forgiven.” Samvatsari 2025 is on August 27 and to seek forgiveness on this day, share these Samvatsari 2025 wishes, Micchami Dukkadam greetings and messages with your friends and family.
