00:10:13Jonas talked?
00:10:14No.
00:10:14How would you know?
00:10:15Because you, you wouldn't be here now if he did.

00:11:35There's no doubt the bulletin blow-up was meant for you.
00:11:40But why?
00:11:42You're much too naive, Captain.
00:11:45Inheritance.

00:11:47With me out of the way, he's next in line.

00:11:55Murder is a high price to pay.
00:11:57Knowing him, no price is too high.
00:12:01He's probably back in the big trade again.
00:12:04Drugs.
00:12:05Middle East, Far East, China, wherever you can get this stuff.
00:12:09Does he still run his whaling ships?
00:12:11No ships.
00:12:12That's part of his probation.
00:12:14Well, he could still run them under another name.
00:12:18That's it, Captain.
00:12:19The doctor will see you again tomorrow.
00:12:22Now, look, Cutter.
00:12:24We do know our business here.
00:12:26Even though you may not think so.
00:12:27Well, do you suppose I might find him?

00:23:43Hello.
00:23:55This is the Murdoch residence.
00:23:57Horace Murdoch.
00:23:59The lock on the safe doesn't seem to work.
00:24:02Could you send out a repairman?
00:24:03Good morning, cowboys.
00:24:17Happy hunting.
00:24:18Hi, Bates.
00:24:18I thought you were going to take the plane up.
00:24:20Change of orders, Marla.
00:24:22They need my muscle down here.

00:26:23Oh, baits. Do you have anything for snakebites?
00:26:27Oh, yeah. Follow me.
00:26:28It's gonna be a hot one. Yeah, make it kinda rough.
00:26:31Yeah, with zebra and wildebeest.
00:26:35This netting should be quite an experience.
00:26:38Here's to experience.
00:26:40You make this stuff?
00:26:48No. Wife.
00:26:50She gets all the leftovers, puts them together,
00:26:52and she figures when I'm bald I won't know the difference anyway.
00:26:55Sure tastes like it.
00:26:57It's not bad once you get used to it.
00:27:00How is your family?
00:27:03Growing. Eight.
00:27:06In eight years?
00:27:08It's that long off seasons, you know.
00:27:11You better get yourself another hobby.

00:27:17You stick with your hobbies, and I'll stick with mine.
00:27:22I'll see ya.
00:27:24Dad says it'll be a couple of hours before he's ready.
00:27:37He says he spotted a herd of zebra now at the base of Sentinel this morning.
00:27:41That sounds like an invitation.
00:27:43Could be.
00:27:54Beautiful, isn't it?
00:28:10Yeah, it sure is.
00:28:13Well, thanks.

00:37:05About how many head do you think you'll run through today, homie?
00:37:09About 5,000. It just depends on how many head we have on hand.
00:37:1420 years and most of Africa will be covered with these half-breeds.
00:37:18What a shame. There won't have any room for any of those beautiful wild animals.
00:37:28The base was right.
00:37:32Were those trees down when you came through?
00:37:34No.
00:37:40Looks like we're going to be here a while.
00:37:42Why don't you tell me about yourself?
00:37:45There's not much to tell.
00:37:47Born and bred Rancher, Montana.
00:37:50During a dry year, Dad hired on as a horse keeper for Ringling Brothers.
00:37:55He fell in love with the animals, and we've been out here trapping ever since.
00:38:00Africa.
00:38:02These beautiful animals.
00:38:04I hope we're not doing too much harm.
00:38:08You're preserving, in a sense.
00:38:11It's bound to go sooner or later.
00:38:13What was it, terrorists?
00:38:21Terrorists?
00:38:22Get back.
00:38:31How coincidental.
00:38:33Play dumb.
00:38:34Weird shots.
00:38:43I didn't hear shots.
00:38:45You?
00:38:47No.
00:38:47I would have sworn.
00:38:53Sorry we can't stay to help.
00:38:56Gotta get those workers or they all run off.
00:38:59What are you working on?
00:39:00Oh, just, uh, gathering the hay.
00:39:05Let's move some.
00:39:06I believe you were telling me the story of your life.
00:39:16Son, we've got to get that cropping fast.
00:39:32Yes, Dad.
00:39:33Yes, Dad.
00:39:36We will.
00:39:38Even if I have to kill a few doing it.
00:39:44And store it carefully down in the mine, son.
00:39:47The next time I catch you drunk and asleep, you'll be a dead foreman.
00:40:13Now get back to work.
00:40:19You get them working.
00:40:20And you keep them working.
00:40:22Until the last brawn is picked.
00:40:24You hear me?
00:40:25Work, work.
00:40:26Come on, man.
00:40:27You're going to get a lot of money, man.
00:40:30Man, you're going to get a lot of money, man.
00:40:33You're going to get a lot of money, man.
00:40:35Hey, get out, get out, get out, get out.
00:40:37Get out, man.
00:40:43What kind of offer, Mr. Garner?
00:40:50For 27,000 Morgan?
00:40:53Sorry, it's not for sale.
00:40:56No, no, neither is the mine.
00:40:59I'm going to take a look at it.
00:41:01I don't care if it is abandoned.
00:41:03No, I won't do anything foolish.
00:41:06Call any time.
00:41:07This ought to help a little.
00:41:15Well, I hope it isn't something I've said.
00:41:18How well do you know Andrew?
00:41:22Quite, but not quite.
00:41:26Diagram isn't necessary.
00:41:28Thanks.
00:41:30You know, it really isn't any of your business.
00:41:34Where is he?

00:43:54Bye-bye, baby!
00:43:56You will call me, won't you, Timothy, baby?
00:43:59Yes, Dad!
00:44:00Bye-bye!
00:44:10It's mighty hot for so much activity, but you always were one for making trouble!
00:44:19Lord, help your mother's soul!
00:44:22She meant good for me and my little ones, willing me this land!
00:44:30You took it!
00:44:31Took it!
00:44:32By the good will of your mother, my dear brother's wife!
00:44:38This land is mine!
00:44:41Mine!
00:44:42All mine and my sons!
00:44:45We were born to this land!
00:44:48Nurtured from its bosom!
00:44:51Through the years of darkness!
00:44:55Worked!
00:44:56Fought for life!
00:44:59You got away with it once!
00:45:02Don't try it again!
00:45:04Don't you threaten me!
00:45:06I know the rights of blood!
00:45:10Laws to hell!
00:45:13I lotted for thirty years!
00:45:16While your uncle Horace loved the King!
00:45:20The Lord ruler!
00:45:22Where no wrong befell him, evil was wished upon me!
00:45:26Evil that clings to my back!
00:45:30Until I drop into the darkness with the help of drugs and juices!
00:45:37Only to wake midst the evils!
00:45:41Wished upon me by the witches of hell!
00:45:45A home!
00:45:46I must have a room, – my little ones!
00:45:48For my little ones!

00:46:34Where's Andrew?
00:46:36I don't know.
00:46:37Durbin, Johannesburg, Cape Town, I don't know.
00:46:47He'll sleep till noon.
00:46:49Keep in bed for a few days in Warham.
00:46:51I'll be back tomorrow.
00:46:52Thank you, Doctor.
00:46:53Good night, Miss Oaks.
00:46:54Good night, Bueller.
00:46:55Good night, Doctor.
00:46:56Miss Oaks.
00:46:58Oh, in a minute, Bueller.
00:47:01Twenty-five years, I'm happy.
00:47:04And then Mrs. Mardock.
00:47:06And then Boss Mardock.
00:47:09Now I'm frightened.
00:47:12We can't be.
00:47:14We mustn't be.
00:47:15Just same.
00:47:16No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:47:21Just like all the doors and the windows.
00:47:24I did.
00:47:26And I'm staying right here.
00:47:29Breakfast.
00:47:43Breakfast.
00:47:47What are you doing?
00:47:52How about a little hot coffee?
00:47:54There's something crazy going here.
00:47:56What are you doing up?
00:47:57You're out of your mind.
00:47:59The doctor gave you enough shots to knock you off for a week.
00:48:02Now you get back into bed.
00:48:03Only if you join me.
00:48:05Uh-uh.
00:48:06Now you wouldn't hit a cripple, would you?
00:48:07Now why don't you just sit down?
00:48:09We'll have a cup of coffee together.
00:48:14I want to thank the doctor and you.
00:48:18Oh, I've got something to do and damn little time to do it in.
00:48:38Aren't you, uh, off your territory?
00:48:42Sorry, this thing keeps stalling on me.
00:48:45The road to the plain is washed out.
00:48:46But Mr. Murdoch wanted to leave.
00:48:48Seems he's learnt his lesson.
00:48:50Oh, I'd say so.
00:48:54I'll have you pushed out of here.
00:48:56Oh, hold on.
00:48:57It's just temperamental.
00:49:03Shut up!
00:49:04Shut up!
00:49:05Shut up, I tell you!

01:18:01Pretty tricky.
01:18:09Let's see this vest.
01:18:21That's not bad, eh?
01:18:24Not bad.
01:18:26Our proponent must have taught you boys some of these tricks.
01:18:31Sorry about it, Rocky.
01:18:49Not bad.
01:18:55Hello.

01:18:59What's up?
01:19:00There's been a newsflash just come in.
01:19:03A body's been found at Market and Coast.
01:19:05The description fits Turk to his left ear.
01:19:08How about when?
01:19:10Time.
01:19:10Since last night.
01:19:12I'll call you later.

01:20:47Nothing wrong with his heart.
01:20:49Funny, that's what I figured.
01:20:50I told her you wouldn't.
01:20:51Not on you.

01:22:45You always were a sucker, Andrew.
01:23:14You have one hell of a debt to pay, and you won't have long to wait.
01:23:34Does a child forget when he has a birthday?
01:23:45Does a rose forget when it's spring?
01:23:53Could June forget to follow me?
01:23:59Could I think of things to say to please you?
01:24:08And would you want me to?
01:24:13To be bold with our hopes so high?
01:24:18No one has loved as you and I.
01:24:24Could I forget the love we've known?
01:24:32Because of one goodbye.
01:24:39To be bold with our hopes so high?
01:24:51To be bold with our hopes so high?
