00:11it's in matthew 6 25 34 it's from the sermon on the mount when jesus went up the mountain and

00:18taught a crowd it begins like this therefore i tell you do not worry about your life what you

00:23will eat or drink or about your body what you will wear is not life more than food and the

00:29body more than clothes look at the birds of the air they do not sow or reap or store away in barns

00:36and yet your heavenly father feeds them are you not much more valuable than they can any one of

00:41you by worrying add a single hour to your life so do not worry saying what shall we eat or what shall

00:48we drink or what shall we wear for the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly father

00:54knows that you need them but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be

00:59given to you as well the first time i heard this passage i heard it on the chosen i was going

01:04through a situation where i had just fractured a vertebra in my spine and had stepped away from

01:10everything in my world i left my city left college and came back to my parents house they live on a farm

01:18in a town of 3 000 people when i heard this passage i felt like it was for me and at that very moment

01:25jesus spoke to me and told me to give up social media at first i thought why would i do that because

01:31on my social media i was helping so many people i was talking about digital marketing strategies for

01:37businesses getting positive feedback and even financial results but then i realized i had no peace

01:43doing any of that something was wrong because if i think i'm doing something good but it doesn't bring

01:48me peace true peace and not just when things go right something is off so i accepted it i deleted all

01:56my apps and completely returned to the word to jesus and that has completely changed my life that's

02:03what i want to share with you today the peace i never felt before in my life these recent times have

02:09been the times i've lived the most because i felt a peace that is not the peace from the absence of

02:13conflict it's the peace of someone who trusts 100 in the father a peace where even when problems come

02:21nothing shakes you because you know there is a creator taking care of everything and there's a part

02:25that's very interesting can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life i want to

02:31emphasize that because i want you to reflect how many times did you worry a lot about something

02:36and it didn't change worry does not change the future it only steals the peace of the present

02:43the more you worry about something the less it changes many times you even make it worse because

02:49you focus so much on the negative possibility that you end up attracting it everything you desperately

02:55want you put on a pedestal everything you think will change your life when it happens

03:00you put so far away that it becomes distant i learned something that helped me a lot

03:06everything you want too much you need to let go of for a while until you realize it was never outside

03:12it was always inside you when you want something badly it's normal to have worries how am i going

03:18to get that job that scholarship pass that test save my family pay the bills all of that seems valid

03:25and it is but it's the wrong focus because worrying doesn't solve anything as it says can any one of

03:32you by worrying add a single hour to your life one phrase i love is what you want the most only comes

03:38when you stop wanting it so badly when we're obsessed needy or too attached we vibrate in lack in scarcity

03:46and the universe doesn't understand what you say it understands what you vibrate if you think when this

03:52happens everything will be fine you're saying right now it's not fine so it understands that it's far away

03:58when you let go and release the attachment you become ready because you don't need that to be

04:03whole anymore only those who are whole can receive something without losing themselves in it god won't

04:10give you what you want if it's going to take his place in your heart you already are what you're

04:14looking for it's not about feeling as if you already have it superficially i tried that for a year

04:21it's very different to know and to be let me give you an example i wanted to help people but i thought

04:27i needed social media followers speaking on big stages then i realized that if i just told someone

04:35you look beautiful today i was already helping the only difference is scale if you want to save animals

04:42you don't need to wait until you have a shelter give food to a stray dog today and you're already doing it

04:48so you stop putting your desire on a pedestal and realize i already am this the universe responds she

04:55already is and then it starts to scale there's a disney movie called soul that explains this perfectly

05:02the character spends his whole life thinking his purpose is to play on big stages when he finally does

05:08it he realizes nothing really changed there's a story of the fish he spent his life looking for the ocean

05:16one day someone told him you're in the ocean and he said this is just water i'm looking for the ocean

05:25that's exactly how we live chasing something that's already here jesus said the kingdom of god is within

05:32you the kingdom was never about a place it's a state of consciousness seeing beauty where no one else

05:37sees trusting like a child what are you failing to see because you're waiting for something out there

05:43that's already here you won't start your mission someday you are the mission you are not a body

05:50with a soul you are a soul in a body when you stop waiting for resources to act you understand that

05:55resources come according to scale be faithful in the little and god will give you much there is no past

06:02or future only the present if you are not happy now you never will be because there is only now
