00:00We may be done. I'm not sure if we can recover from that. And we're really in a tough spot right now because we got wars overseas, a war going on in this country. We have war inside of our institutions. It is so bad. And yet we stand here and we talk about the GOP as something that they should be fixing these problems. And they're not.
00:30Welcome to the latest episode of Going Rogue with Lara Logan. My guest today is a man who really doesn't need an introduction, someone I've known for more than 20 years and consider a good friend. He is America's general. I call him the George Washington of today, General Flynn.
00:45You know, there is I want to get right to it. There is a lot of talk about indictments and nobody knows better than you how significant this is.
00:55I was shocked last night. Well, listening to Judge Napolitano on Newsmax with a guest putting this off as, you know, politics as usual.
01:05And and people shouldn't expect anyone to go to prison, that this is kind of fantasy. I would love to hear your response to that.
01:12Yeah, I didn't see the episode. The leaders tell you that there has to be there have to be people that are held accountable for what they did to this country.
01:23Never mind to each of us. Right. People like me, my family, Trump, his family and many, many others who were families were destroyed.
01:32So I do think that there's going to be some discussion about whether or not to go after Barack Obama as a president.
01:40And I and I I'm not going to get into that constitutional debate, but people like John Brennan, Jim Comey, Jim Clapper, Susan Rice and many others.
01:51I do think that they're also going to also we're also we're also going to see with what Ed Martin is doing, people like Fannie Willis, who is the district attorney in Georgia, the attorney general in New York.
02:04I think that people like Jack Smith, who did the mal-a-lago raid and was the photo unquote special counsel against President Trump.
02:13I think we're going to see indictments of those individuals.
02:17There are grand juries already in place that I'm aware of and was in Florida.
02:22One is in I believe is in Washington, D.C.
02:25Another is in New York and there's a potential one in Pennsylvania.
02:30And I think the one in Pennsylvania may be for what I believe it's going to be an even bigger bomb that's going to come out here.
02:39And that has to do with the 2020 election.
02:42So if people look at Russiagate as the attempted coup, the actual coup was 2020 election.
02:49And that I mean, they did it.
02:53They affected a coup against the country and they put a person in place who we now know was essentially brain dead.
03:00And I'm being a little bit facetious, but he clearly had mental health problems.
03:05Yeah.
03:06So there there is going to be accountability for sure.
03:12Some of those names that I mentioned.
03:13And I think that if there isn't accountability, which I seriously doubt, but if there isn't for some reason, these people are able to walk away from all this, then our country is gone.
03:29No matter what President Trump does, he must hold these people accountable.
03:34And in some cases, Lara, it can be or they can be held accountable for national security reasons, not just not just reasons that are conspiracy or fraud or racketeering or things like that that we typically hear about.
03:51But for purposes of national security and undermining a duly elected president, which is very clear.
03:57Now, last point, I'll stop.
04:00I just got another batch of documents that the FBI just released.
04:05So they're not even going down and waiting on FOIAs anymore.
04:08They're just starting to release tranches of documents.
04:11So I have a member of my team that's looking at things that are just related to me.
04:15And so now we see the conversation that I think it was Andy McCabe had with Mike Pence and Reince Priebus, who I think both of those latter names, Pence and Priebus, I actually think they were a part of my problem for sure.
04:32And we now know what we now know exactly what those conversations were because they're documented and now they're public.
04:41And so the FBI clearly, and in this case, Andy McCabe, and then another name that a lot of people don't remember, but Sally Yates, who was the acting attorney general for a while.
04:54They basically, they lied to the vice president and the chief of staff to the president, Reince Priebus, or those two, when they read whatever document that they were presented, they misinterpreted or they misread it.
05:12But something, it's black and white now.
05:14And it's very clear that particular conversation, because that's the conversation that happened in the situation room of the White House that led to my resignation as the national security advisor.
05:29That started the ball rolling toward really the worsening of the Russiagate situation.
05:38It didn't, you know, tell me when I left Larry that it was going to go away.
05:43Actually, it began in earnest.
05:47And so the previous stuff that happened, what we now know from back in August of 2016, December of 2016, early January of 2017, these are meetings with Barack Obama and John Brennan and other members of Barack Obama's scene,
06:07where they set this conspiracy to undermine and basically to take over the country from a duly elected president.
06:15There's no more theories about this.
06:18It is in black and white.
06:20And in fact, the word that's been used, two words that have been used.
06:24One is treason and one is coup.
06:27And those have been used by both the president of the United States, the current one, Trump, and by the director of national intelligence, Kelsey Gabbard.
06:37So there's even more to come, but people are going to have to be held accountable.
06:42But Mike, isn't that a seditious conspiracy?
06:45One hundred percent.
06:48One hundred percent.
06:49And it started prior to Trump being elected in 2016.
06:54So if Trump had lost, Hillary would have won.
06:59And frankly, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
07:01No, she made that clear.
07:03Right.
07:03She said the basket of deplorables.
07:05She basically rolled out a target list.
07:08And that's why Trump has always said, it's not really about me.
