00:00In Willow Village, a sunny morning began with an unusual sight.
00:20The sky seemed lower than ever before, its clouds hanging like giant cotton pillows above
00:28the rooftops.
00:30Zara, an eight-year-old girl with curious eyes and a little notebook always in her hand, noticed
00:36the change right away.
00:37She stepped outside, feeling as though she could almost reach up and touch the clouds.
00:43The air carried a faint scent of rain, though the sun was shining bright.
00:49While walking through the meadow, Zara spotted something drifting gently from the sky.
00:56It was a feather shimmering blue, as long as her arm, and glowing softly in the sunlight.
01:03It looked as though it belonged to no bird on earth.
01:07Zara turned it in her hands, wondering what kind of creature could have dropped it from
01:12so high above.
01:14The clouds, now so close, seemed to hide something far more mysterious than she had ever imagined.
01:24Zara remembered the old stories her grandfather used to tell.
01:28They spoke of a mighty creature called the Great Skybird, guardian of the weather and protector
01:35of the seasons.
01:36If one of its feathers fell, it meant the bird was in trouble, and the balance of the skies
01:43was at risk.
01:44Zara felt the spark of determination.
01:48The clouds being so low could only mean one thing.
01:51This was the time to find the skybird and help it.
01:54Beyond the meadow, the land rose into rolling hills where the lowest clouds brushed the grass.
02:00As Zara stepped forward, her foot landed not on the earth, but on a soft, springy safisa cloud
02:09strong enough to hold her weight.
02:12Each step took her higher into the sky.
02:14Below, the village grew smaller, and the colors of the world blurred into patches of green, gold,
02:23and blue along the way.
02:25She passed strange sights.
02:29A rainbow flowing like a river.
02:33Lots with coats of mist grazing on cloud edges, and tunnels of wind that hummed like deep flutes.
02:40High above, the clouds parted to reveal an enormous nest, woven from silver branches and
02:48golden straw.
02:49At its center lay the great skybird, its wings tangled in dark, thorny vines that sparked
02:57with little bolts of lightning.
02:59The bird's great eyes were full of weariness, and its feathers dulled by the weight of the
03:05vines.
03:06Zara climbed into the nest, using all her strength to pull and tear at the thorny strands.
03:13Piece by piece, the vines gave way until the bird's wings stretched wide, scattering the
03:20stormy clouds and letting in streams of golden sunlight.
03:25Freed from its bonds, the skybird rose into the air with a mighty flap that sent warm winds
03:32rolling across the land.
03:34From one of its shining wings, a single feather drifted down to Zara.
03:40It glowed brighter than the first.
03:42This one was a gift.
03:44A promise that, if the village ever needed help, she could call upon the skybird once again.
03:50Zara descended on a gentle current of air, the skybird flying above her until it disappeared
03:58into the higher clouds.
03:59The village greeted her with wonder as gentle rain began to fall, watering the fields and
04:06filling the air with the smell of fresh earth.
04:10Zara placed the glowing feather inside her notebook and wrote the day's story.
04:16She knew she would always remember the morning when the sky came closer and she had the courage
04:20to climb into it.
