Fundraiser Update (2020)

An update for all those that contributed to our cause. We helped feed hundreds of local Burmese workers, who otherwise were not offered any support throughout the COVID lockdowns. Many separated from family, and living off leaves from the jungle, these contributions meant a lot, and I'm so thankful for all that supported us.

00:00so we are in one of the local shops right now we've kind of decided to to spread out our buys

00:17across a few local shops so we can kind of be supporting small local businesses at the same

00:21time so we're at the first one that has all kinds of you know bulk supplies of things

00:28which is what we're looking for nice little piles on here

00:32these are mosquito coils so that's like right now we're having a lot of rain so everybody's

00:41getting bit by mosquitoes like crazy and out here we've got dengue fever so it's actually

00:45pretty serious

00:46so this stuff's actually a shrimp paste that's very popular and you can kind of put it with

01:03rice and then make a full meal it's made locally here on kolanka which is cool because we're

01:09supporting local business and supporting local business here at this grocery store that's

01:16distributing it

01:33uh it's like um instant noodles and a lot of eggs and yeah oil here it's going to be

01:41less of rice today
