00:41Anyway, thank you for your support
00:43It's highly appreciated
00:44Hello again my dear viewers
00:51So during this video I'll be showing you
00:53How to make your very own 1-to-1 scale scrap
00:56So for those of you who may not be very familiar with the name Scrat
01:01Basically who that is is the character from Ice Age
01:05It's that little squirrel character
01:07Basically always in pursuit of the
01:09Well, Acorn basically chasing it constantly
01:13And really never seems to be able to quite get it
01:16So I decided to make my very own little 1-to-1 scale version of him
01:20Out of clay
01:21Because he's my favorite character from there
01:23And being Canadian
01:24Unfortunately things are getting a little closer to winter
01:27So I figured this would be kind of an appropriate character to make
01:30And I would like to have little adventures of him in the near future
01:34Of this little claymation character running throughout my house
01:37Basically trying to grab the nuts
01:38And perhaps I'm interacting with him
01:41Or various other claymation characters
01:43To well, perhaps make that task
01:45Ultimately, well, more difficult than it needs to be
01:49That being said
01:50I figured this would be a good character
01:52Or a little stop motion character to make
01:54To have 1-to-1 scale
01:56That way it's a little easier for me to work with
01:58During the animation process
01:59As well as be able to make some quick funny short cartoons for everyone
02:04So that way it can kind of keep my animation whale schedule
02:07A little bit more active
02:08And a little bit less of the how-tos
02:10I do understand this is a little bit of a break from the cars
02:13Don't worry
02:14We will be returning to that shortly
02:15This did take a little bit longer
02:17So this post is a little out of schedule
02:20I will try to get things all back in order though shortly
02:22Anyway, for those of you who are perhaps curious
02:25On making your own little 1-to-1 scale scratch
02:27Obviously you're going to want to start with some armature wire
02:30And some oven-baked clay
02:31And basically make your own little skeletal structure
02:34Now I'll admit I did make kind of a few mistakes here
02:37I had to extend the, whatchamacallit, the arms
02:42As well as the legs halfway through the build
02:45Which wasn't a very easy process
02:46But anyway, if perhaps you're unfortunate enough
02:50To make the same mistake at some point
02:53Well, I'm here to help show you how to kind of, well, fix that
02:57It's kind of a pain in the butt
02:58But it's at least repairable
03:00And you won't lose all those hours of work you put into your sculpture
03:03And not have it exactly, well, the way you envisioned it
03:06Now at this point, seeing how your skeleton will probably be all baked
03:10If you're following along step by step
03:12You are going to be adding on plasticine
03:14And at that point you're going to basically just layer things up bit by bit
03:18Until you have a nice muscle layer
03:19And then you can add on the details
03:21So from this point on
03:22You're basically just going to want to follow the text
03:24And what my hands are doing during the video
03:27Don't worry about the band-aid there
03:29It's just a little minor cut
03:30Unfortunately it was a little worse than expected
03:32For the first couple days there
03:34So I decided to just kind of cover it up
03:36You'll see my hand later on is completely exposed
03:39And it is fine
03:40So no need to fret my dear viewers
03:42As always be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Milton the Moose
03:46And perhaps if you're new here
03:47Milton the Moose is the little moose character
03:50That is kind of the mascot for the channel
03:52So if you timestamp correctly when he shows up during the video
03:55You will get your comments pinned at the top of the comment section
03:58And perhaps a shout out to my next video
03:59P.S. this one might not be as easy as some of the others
04:03Due to Epic Tiger HD having a particularly sharp eye
04:07So good luck dear viewers
04:09And perhaps if you enjoyed the content
04:10Be sure to smash that like button
04:12Share with friends
04:13Comment below what you think of the project
04:15And well perhaps consider subscribing if you're new
04:17Anyway that's enough from me for now
04:19I'll see you towards the end of the video
04:21Take it easy my dear viewers
04:23And sit back relax
04:24And hopefully this encourages you to make your own little one-to-one scale scratch
04:28And if you're new to the end of the video
