00:00This has to work the first time. No going back. 2,000 degrees, molten glass, one shot,
00:07one cut. Here we go. So we're going to try to get that all nice and straight on there.
00:13I've got the color on now. I know this might look really easy, but I've done this tens
00:18of thousands of times. I used to work in a factory, but this is my job. My bubble, cap
00:25there in there with my thumb. The glass is still hot, the air expands, pushes out the
00:29bubble. I'm going to block this up with my wood block, make it nice and even so it blows
00:35up nice and symmetrical. Then I'm going to hang this down, give it a little puff, really
00:43nice and soft. Get the bubble all the way to the bottom. Now I've got to marver this down
00:50to a nice taper. I'm going to blow real hard. Got to get all those ridges, rolling on the
00:58color on the ridges. I've got to blow, squeeze, turn, not catch on fire. Now I've got my hole
01:13on the bottom because you don't want a wobbly pumpkin. I'm going to put that in and then
01:20once it slows down, I'll show you the coolness of this pumpkin. So this is our October pumpkin
01:25or October on the vine pumpkin. You still feel all the texture on the ridges. We've got nice
01:31to fine ridges from our optic mold. All right, pumpkin stem, POV style, push down, pull up.
01:38This is going to be green, not red. So it's coming out great. I'm looking at the temperature.
01:43I'm looking at the movement of the stem right now. So this is all really hot. I'm trying
01:48to adjust my hands right now. This pipe is freaking hot. I should have cooled it. Now
01:54I'm going to go one, two, three, four, five. I'm pulling, trying to get the right thickness
02:01all the way around. Go for the flip down. Beautiful. Seal that all the way around. I've got to bring
02:10this around before it gets too cold. Yes. Spin towards us so we can see what's happening.
02:17Make sure you don't burn the camera guy. We'll go for the cut. Everyone hold your breath.
02:27The October on the vine finished pumpkin you just watched us make. You can see the true color now.
02:33We have that sparkly green stem. We have the texture green on the ridges. This is a true orange and green pumpkin.
