00:00This is my highly venomous 12-foot-long King Cobra Rusty.

00:06There we go.

00:08Rusty has an infection from some Aspergillus fungus that came with his bedding,

00:13so that is what we are treating today.

00:15Now, it's an injectable medication that I have to give him every three days for an entire month,

00:20so 10 injections for a whole month.

00:23Now, normally this would be extremely difficult if Rusty was a mean animal,

00:27but he's actually a very, very chill King Cobra.

00:30As you can see, even though he is in shed right now,

00:33now what you want to do is go ahead, gently grab him by the head like this,

00:36and then the shot, you want to give him the first one-third of the body,

00:39and it's intermuscular injection, not intravenous, so it's not really too hard.

00:43As long as you get it underneath the scale, make sure he's nice and comfortable.

00:47Bada bing, bada boom. Let's get this done.
