01:18I also became one of the first to conduct commercial research
01:23And we looked at genetically sequencing plants
01:25And all these things I had worked on for years
01:29People finally got to see in the public light
01:31It was such a prominent crew that you were with
01:34You know, you got Gail King
01:35Katy Perry
01:37You have Amanda Nguyen
01:39So I want to know what it was like being with them
01:42It's amazing to be surrounded by so many legends in their field
01:47There's no shortage of inspiration on the flight
01:50And I was really happy that we were all able to come together and do this
01:54After six years with NASA

02:28To traveling around the world and even being here in the Philippines
02:31I'm so excited to bring the story of overcoming self-doubt
02:36Of overcoming external limitations
02:38And challenging people to build the things that they need
02:42To make their environment better
02:43From childhood dreams to reality

04:06You know, thousands of miles away from your home in the United States
04:10Who is still dreaming of having a career in astronomy and in space science
04:17I talk to the students
04:18And what I want to say is that you can and you will, right?
04:23There's no dream that's truly out of reach
04:25And I hope that whoever's ever hearing this conversation
04:27Knows to go and to fly them
04:30Fly them to space
04:32Because the Philippines deserves their first astronaut
