00:00Hey everyone, welcome back, today's third story is about pollution, accountability,
00:06and the power of a single viral post.
00:08The LTO has officially summoned the owner of a bus car smoke belching on camera and
00:16it's sparking a bigger conversation.
00:19On August 19, a public utility bus was filmed emitting thick black smoke while driving through
00:27a busy road.
00:29The video quickly went viral and netizens tagged the LTO demanding action.
00:35By August 20, the LTO placed the bus under alarm, meaning no transactions can be made
00:42with the vehicle until the investigation is complete.
00:46They also issued a show-cause order on the Stamonica Transport Service cooperative asking
00:55them to explain why they shouldn't be penalized under the Philippine Clean Air Act.
01:04Smoke belching isn't just a nonsense, it's a health hazard.
