A tourist stayed in one of London's smallest hotels - and says it cost less than the price of a train home.

Callum Ryan, 24, stayed in the Piccadilly Hostel in Piccadilly Circus and paid just £24 for a night.

Guests stay in a "phone box" sized pod - fit with just a bed, mirror and charging ports.

The hotel has separate shower and toilet facilities outside of the pods for guests to use.

00:00I stayed in London's smallest hotel and you will not believe how much it cost.
00:03This is Piccadilly Hostel located in the heart of central London right on Piccadilly Circuit.
00:08And inside there is hundreds of capsule hotel rooms.
00:11Sorry for checking in I made my way to my room and honestly it was a lot better than I expected for the price.
00:16How cool it looked.
00:17Inside the pod you get a fan, a dimmable light switch and even a plug socket so you can charge your phone.
00:21The bed was surprisingly comfy and even though the place is very small it's just enough room to spend the night.
00:26I was also pleasantly surprised by the toilet and shower facilities as they were really clean.
00:30For a price of only £24 a night it's a really cheap place to stay in central London so I highly recommend you give it a try.
