00:04You see, since the last few years, one, two, three years,

00:10the incidences of trafficking is very high and growing in increasing order,

00:18especially in this area, North Bengal, Shiliguri being a corridor

00:22and an international border area where four countries are in our borders.

00:27So, trafficking is very easy. It's a corridor and not only that,

00:31interstate trafficking like from here to Bihar, Jharkhand, then your Bangalore, Chennai.

00:41These things are happening here. Traffickers are very keeping it in target.

00:46And on the other side, the victim girls, be from tribal Rajbangshi families

00:52or from Nepal or from tea garden employees,

00:56they are easily accessible here.

00:58So, incidences of trafficking is raising day by day.

01:02Considering this into mind and the recent success of this RPF

01:08who has rescued more than 56 girls at a time,

01:13then 37 girls from Tinchukia, then another 27 girls on 27th.

01:18So, there is success with them.

01:20NCW considered there should be some educational awareness program

01:28in collaboration with commission and RPF and other agencies

01:33who are doing this type of work, rescuing traffic to women.

01:37So, we have considered today a workshop, three, four hours.

01:41And almost all our partners were present there.

01:44Everyone is very positive.

01:46And we have good interactive sessions, questions and such.

01:49So, I consider this is a successful program.

02:31who will look exclusively after human trafficking,

02:34which is alarming problem today.

02:38Nowadays, in West Bengal, especially in Shiliguri and border areas.

02:42So, I will take those plea from this ground to our home ministry

02:48and put it there that proper nodal office with some employees

02:55can be constituted for the purpose exclusively to reduce

02:59or minimize the trafficking here.

03:01See, it is our bad luck.

03:04We have a lady chief minister.

03:06We have, both of the cases happened in Kolkata only,

03:11which is well secured in one city.

03:14But unfortunately, in all cases, we have seen that the proofs,

03:19the post-mortem repos, the body was burned,

03:22police has taken some cognizance, the hospital was vandalized,

03:25the crime scene that was demolished.

03:30So, this type of non-cooperation from some party,

03:37I will say some party who are interested to demolish this,

03:40not to get the actual culprit booked.

03:42So, even after a few days when CBI got this,

03:45they could not conclude.

03:47They are yet to put their next charge sheet and give what is in final.

03:51So, that is also pending.

03:52No one is punished yet.

03:54And this law call is no one punished, no one booked.

03:58Some particular person is booked but not punished.

04:01So, everything is pending.

04:02This long time, prolonged inquiry period.

04:07And this delay in giving punishment, exact punishment,

05:58You see, those dog lovers thing is under supervision of Supreme Court order

06:05and done by Delhi government.

06:07So, commission has nothing to say in this.

06:09But, any type of attempt to dishonour or assault, whatever,

06:15is not, is not, no one can do that.

06:20If you have some dissatisfaction, you have some ways.

06:23You can write, you can plea, you can go to court, you can go to police.

06:26You can do so many things.

06:28But, you can't hit the Chief Minister.

06:30That is not the way.

06:32Hitting Chief Minister or at her residence during John Sunoy,

06:35I simply, I say, this is not to be done.

06:40This is not done.

06:42This is not correct attitude.
