00:14along the way.
00:16The tour guide is a professional and local resident of Dharavi.
00:20Before the visit, there is an explanation about Mumbai and Dharavi, as well as a detailed
00:25explanation of the tour route and the cultural background behind it.
00:29The walk may be a little scary, but with Gluk you can enjoy the entire walking journey
00:34with peace of mind.
00:37Guide Maze is really great.
00:39His explanations are detailed, and he clearly points out important things to be aware of.
00:44You can ask him questions anytime, and he will always answer enthusiastically.
00:50I've had him as my guide twice in Mumbai, and both times were excellent.
00:54If you need a guide, I highly recommend him.
00:58The third largest slum in the world, Dharavi slum is the place where many recycling ground
01:03work takes place.
01:04A must to visit when you are in Mumbai to see how people live there.
01:10Great bye for the whole family and friends, everyone is very happy and enjoy.
01:16One of the world's famous slums, the various industries in it support the livelihood of
01:21many people, and it is an almost self-sufficient ecosystem.
01:25All tour guides lead us through it, understand the incredible and miracles inside, understand
01:31the impact and results of the rich and the poor in society, it is a very special experience,
01:36highly recommended.
01:39Great tour, can recommend.
01:41Guide had an excellent knowledge about how the slum works.
01:45We really didn't know what to expect of the Dharavi slum tour.
01:49In fact, we didn't even know if we should do such a tour, concerned that it may be exploiting
01:55the local residents.
01:56However, having read about the tour on Google, where else, we decided to take the plunge and
02:01made the booking.
02:03Mr. Ganesh, our guide, made us feel at ease.
02:07He explained that the locals see it as a way to educate us about their way of life.
02:11There are plenty of economic activities going on in the slum.
02:16It may not be the prettiest of places, but it's their home and they're not ashamed of
02:20it.
02:21We came across lots of kids during the tour, who joyfully greeted and high-fived us.
02:27Their smiling faces are forever etched into our memory.
02:30We highly recommend this tour to everyone interested in seeing some of the real Mumbai.
02:36It was an eye-opening experience.
02:39Our tour guide, Maze was a cool guy who knew everything about the slum life.
02:43I would like to show my respectful to everyone having a life here.
02:47They are hard-working, friendly even in an extremely difficult working environment.
02:52Highly recommend.
02:55Mr. Mohamed was friendly and professional.
02:58Having lived in the slum, he was able to guide us through with ease.
03:01I am a solo traveler and it was good to join two other girls from Belgium on our walking
03:06tour.
03:08I really enjoyed learning what an industrious community the slums are.
03:13The guide is very polite and all the services are well.
03:17Our guide and rest of group had a prior excursion and so they arrived late to the pickup slash
03:22meeting point.
03:23This was a bit concerning since I arrived 10 minutes early and another three packs arrived
03:28two minutes early, yet no guide.
03:31Furthermore, no tell or email contact for the tour agency was provided by Klug.
03:36It appeared that the other three packs joined via a different website so we also did not
03:41know whether we were joining the same tour.
03:44Guide arrived about 10 minutes late with the other eight packs.
03:47The guide, Nanish, was very knowledgeable and friendly.
03:52Tour was educational but a little bit depressing.
03:55It lasted nearly 145 hours, which was more than enough.
04:00This is our tour guide Mr. Muhammad for a very good explanation about the slum.
04:07We started at 9am.
04:08The trip is fun.
04:11Highly recommended.
