00:00T20 World Cup
00:03Let's see, last time when he played T20 for India, post T20 World Cup, when we went to Sri Lanka, not Zimbabwe,
00:12we started there when I was leading, he was vice-captain.
00:15He started, so that's where we started a new cycle for T20 World Cup.
00:19After that he got busy with all the test series,
00:22and he didn't get any opportunity for T20 because he was busy playing test cricket
00:27and more of a Champions Trophy, I guess, before England T20.
00:31So, he's there in the squad and we are happy to have him.
00:35This is the first big tournament which we are playing after that T20 World Cup.
00:40We played 3-4 bilateral series but it's a good tournament to test ourselves
00:45and after that there are a lot of T20s, I think close to 20-22 T20s in total
00:51before we play our first game in the World Cup.
00:53So, I think the journey starts from the Asia Cup.
00:57I think he's done really well.
01:00When he was picked for India, he did really well in the IPL and the game which he played for India,
01:06I think remember that concussion replacement game in Pune.
01:10I still remember he got man of the match also.
01:12The last T20 which he's played for India, he's got MOM in that
01:16and then after that he didn't get an opportunity.
01:18So, we back his skill, he's got that skill for this T20 format and we know he can deliver.
01:27We spoke a lot on how to approach, how to go about it.
01:31Then we spoke about, let's not think about the milestones ahead, follow your journey.
01:38I think he's been a completely different cricketer post that.
01:41He's taken one game at a time, all challenges slow and steady the way he did in the IPL
01:47and also in the domestic tournaments which he played, the T20s and the ODIs over one day.
01:53I think he's done really well and he's earned his spot again.
