00:00Well, what's going on, guys?
00:02Hisense is taking the wraps off of its 2025 mini-LED TV lineups.
00:08Right behind me is the Hisense U9 mini-LED TV.
00:12That is going to be the top mini-LED TV offering from Hisense this year.
00:16We finally have got all the deets about the lineup, and we're going to be going through
00:20them in this video.
00:22The Hisense U9 or Hisense U9 QG is Hisense's flagship mini-LED TV for 2025, and it's looking
00:29to push some boundaries.
00:31The new HiView Engine X processor is packed with AI features like 4K upscaling, something
00:36called super resolution, and HDR enhancements, making sure everything on screen looks as
00:41sharp and detailed as possible.
00:42But the real game-changer, this TV now has a 165Hz refresh rate, which is huge for gaming,
00:49especially if you're running a high-end PC.
00:50This year's U9 is also bringing some serious audio power, with the 65-inch model featuring
00:56a 4.1.2 channel speaker system, while the 75-inch and 85-inch model step it up to a full 5.1.2
01:03surround sound setup.
01:05Right below the U9, we've got the 2025 Hisense U8.
01:08And honestly, if there's any TV here that has a chance to make our best list, it's going
01:12to be this one.
01:13It's picking up where last year's U8N left off, but with some serious upgrades that
01:18actually make it more comparable to last year's U9.
01:21It also gets the 165Hz refresh rate, but the big story will be brightness.
01:26Hisense is claiming a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, which is 1,500 nits brighter than last
01:32year.
01:32That's just wild.
01:34The U8 also supports Wi-Fi 6E, Dolby Vision HDR10+, and even iMacs enhanced, so a lot of
01:40premium features for a brand that might not always be considered in the premium tier conversations.
01:45What's more, if you like your TVs big, this U8 goes all the way up to 100 inches, lots of
01:51size options here.
01:52We'll probably end up testing a 65-inch version, though.
01:54Would you want to see a review first of the U9 or the U8?
01:58I'm kind of leaning towards U8, but let me know your thoughts in the comments.
02:02And also, if you're new here, make sure to hit that subscribe button and turn on notifications
02:05so you don't miss any upcoming TV content on this channel.
02:08Moving on, if you want a more affordable option that still delivers mini-LED performance,
02:13the Hisense U7 looks like a solid mid-range pick.
02:16It's also getting the 165-hertz refresh rate, plus an anti-glare coating that makes it a
02:21great choice if your living room has a lot of natural light.
02:24Hisense is clearly stepping up its built-in audio game across the board, with the U7 getting
02:29a 2.1.2-channel speaker setup with 60 watts of power, which is actually better than what
02:34some premium-tier OLED TVs come with.
02:36If you're someone who's buying a TV but doesn't want to deal with an external sound system,
02:40this could be a big plus.
02:42Lastly, we got the Hisense U6 QF, which is Hisense's most budget-friendly mini-LED option
02:48this year.
02:49The refresh rate drops down slightly to 144 hertz, but you're still getting Dolby Vision,
02:54Dolby Atmos, and HDR10 Plus Adaptive, which means even at this lower price point, I'm going
02:59to be hoping for solid HDR performance.
03:01One interesting change, however, and this is going to be very important if you're shopping
03:05for this TV this year, is that the U6 is using Fire TV instead of Google TV, the first time
03:11Hisense is doing this in a while.
03:13So if you're already in the Amazon ecosystem, this might be a nice bonus.
03:18Personally, I prefer Google TV, but sound off in the comments what your favorite smart
03:22TV platform is.
03:23I'm curious.
03:24As always, Hisense remains dedicated to giving customers a large breadth of options between
03:30size and budget, and that's exactly what you see here in the ULED lineup.
03:34But of course, we're going to have to get everything into our lab, come to some conclusions.
03:38And for that, make sure you're subscribed to the channel so you don't miss any of our
03:42upcoming TV videos.
03:43Anyway, that's it for me.
03:45Thanks for watching.
03:46I'll catch you next time.
