Image speed optimization is one of the most overlooked steps in SEO. Most of the images uploaded from your phone to your website may look great, but they are slowing down your website and losing you that top spot on Google. Here is how to upload images.

First, go to Tinypng.com, drop the images in there, and it will compress the file size and crucially, doesn't kill the quality. JPEGs and PNGs are the best.

Once you do this across your whole site, you will see faster load times, better user experience, and it will be a bump in rankings, too.
