Senior finance leaders and industry experts from across Malaysia converged at the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Forum 2025 in Kuala Lumpur to explore the evolving role of CFOs in a rapidly changing business landscape.
The two-day event, organised by Star Media Group Bhd, highlighted how finance leaders are moving beyond traditional financial gatekeeping to become strategic innovators and key drivers of digital change.

00:12Organized by Star Media Group Berhad, the two-day event, themed redefining leadership, value and strategy, aimed to equip finance leaders with the tools to navigate economic volatility, digital transformation, regulatory shifts, ESG demands, and rising cybersecurity risks.
00:29Kazana Research Institute, KRI, Research Advisor, Professor Dr. Jomo Kwame Sundaram, in his keynote session, stressed that Malaysian businesses must remain vigilant to geopolitical and economic shifts.

01:15The first panel, titled Delivering Financial Results, was moderated by Deloitte CFO Program Leader Ho Kok Yong.
01:22This was followed by a discussion on Accelerate Digitalization, which focused on using new technologies to enhance efficiency and drive growth.
01:30The final discussion on Navigating Uncertainty explored how CFOs can leverage next-generation financial tools such as advanced analytics and real-time data to make better decisions and prepare for the future.
