00:24all with your spirit good morning one in today's gospel jesus had a chat with an young man

00:35who got bible says that gospel says he was a rich man his richness possessed him so he was sad

00:46he couldn't follow jesus whether our desires our possessions our richness possess us

01:00sometimes we fail to follow jesus even though what we need to

01:05we fail to do what actually god wants we know but still we fail because we are possessed by something

01:20our desires our richness our different things job career

01:26it's like a moment to accept all our failures and weaknesses the times we fail to

01:36leave everything to god the times we fail to understand the times we fail to follow

01:44and ask pardon for that and prepare ourselves to celebrate the second mysteries

01:56i confess to almighty god and to you my brothers and sisters that have greatly sinned in my thoughts

02:03in my words in what i have done and what i have failed to do through my fault through my fault through

02:10my most previous fault therefore i ask blessed mary of a virgin or the angels and saints and you my

03:11a reading from the book of judges the sons of israel did what displeased the lord and served the vials

05:39they failed to destroy the peoples as the lord had given command but instead they mingled with the

05:55to i worshipped the idols of the nations and these became a snare to entrap them they even offered their

06:03own sons and their daughters in sacrificed demons lord remember us for the love you bear your people

06:11so they defiled themselves by their deeds so they defiled themselves by their deeds and broke their

06:16marriage bound with the lord till his anger blazed against his people he was filled with the horror

06:24at his chosen ones lord remember us for the love you bear your people time after time he rescued them

06:36but in their malice they died to defy them defy him in spite of this he paid heed to their distress so often

07:23jesus said to him why you ask me about what is good

07:42you must not bring false witness honor your father and mother and you must love your neighbor as yourself

07:49the young man said to him i have kept all these what more do i need to do jesus said if you wish to be

07:59perfect go and sell what you owe and give the money to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven

08:08then come follow me but when the young man heard these words he went away sad

08:15for he was a man of great world

08:27blessed are you lord god of all creation for through your goodness we have received the bread

08:31to offer you fruit of the earth and work of human hands it will become for us the bread of life
