00:00I love you guys so much, and whenever I see I disappointed you, it just breaks my heart into a million pieces.
00:08Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're examining the most infamous meltdowns captured on camera by well-known YouTubers,
00:14even if the incident took place away from the platform.
00:16I'll see you in court. I will see you in court.
00:21Riffs Everywhere, Ninja.
00:23It's not uncommon for gaming streamers to have several meltdowns when a game hasn't gone their way,
00:27and considering he's one of the most subscribed Twitch accounts and has over 23 million subscribers on YouTube, Ninja is no exception.
00:34In 2022, he was playing Fortnite when his opponent escaped with a rift.
00:43Did they rift?
00:44Having experienced this several times, it was the final straw for Ninja.
00:48He quit the game, adding several expletives about being sick of this.
00:51Can't do any more, dude.
00:52Can't.
00:53Wow.
00:55I'm fucking sick of this, dude.
00:56He also stated that they needed a break from streaming, which he later reaffirmed on social media.
01:01But fear not, after a week away, Ninja returned to streaming.
01:04Chat, I don't know, I don't know when I'm going to be live, man.
01:06I don't know where I'm going to be live next, but I gotta, I gotta get off, man.
01:10What the Muffin?
01:10George Not Found.
01:11When a streamer has a meltdown, you expect rage, cursing, and high enough voice pitches that only dogs can hear.
01:17Well, in 2021, George Davidson, aka George Not Found, did all of those plus something unusual.
01:23While playing a Minecraft basketball tournament alongside other streamers, Davidson was utterly perplexed why Callahan's play wasn't called off.
01:32Instead of his usually more measured behavior, he was so enraged that he went on a screechy rant filled with expletives.
01:38It's cool off, it's cool off, please call him.
01:39Call him out, call him, call him, call him, call him!
01:42However, it was the final phrase that forever lives in the hearts and minds of internet users.
01:47With the tirade reaching a crescendo, Davidson spat out the very PG phrase, what the muffin.
01:52What the, what the, what the muffin?
01:56Manic episode, Gabbie Hanna.
01:58Best known for releasing music and vlogs via her YouTube channel,
02:01Gabby Hanna's career and life took a very different turn in 2022.
02:05Through her TikTok account, she began releasing many controversial videos in a short amount of
02:09time, at one point reaching 100 in a day. Many of the videos tended to focus on poetry
02:14and religion, as well as Hanna claiming she was the second coming of Jesus.
02:18You may be a little, believe me, that I could actually be the second coming of Jesus Christ.
02:25Hanna had previously spoken about her struggles with mental health,
02:28after being diagnosed with several conditions, including ADHD and bipolar disorder.
02:33So that was actually a brand new thing for me, that I was experiencing in real time.
02:39The police soon arrived to do a wellness check on her, and thankfully, she was okay.
02:43Hanna took a long break from social media, finding work in other fields, before returning in 2024.
02:49Toxic Gossip Train, Colleen Ballinger.
02:52Sometimes, meltdowns are over-the-top behavior. Sometimes, they're measured,
02:56but just as uncomfortable to witness.
02:58All aboard the toxic gossip train, chugging down the tracks of misinformation.
03:07One of the biggest acts to find success in mainstream showbiz after getting started on YouTube,
03:12Colleen Ballinger found her life in turmoil in 2023, after many allegations of misconduct against
03:17her came out. This also brought up her past controversial behavior of using stereotypes
03:22in her acts. In response, instead of doing a heartfelt apology, the Miranda Sings performer
03:27released a video of herself playing the ukulele, and singing about the toxic gossip train.
03:32I'm not a groomer. I'm just a loser. If you didn't understand, I shouldn't respond to fans.
03:37Considered one of the worst apology videos ever, as viewers laid into the insincerity,
03:42Ballinger's career was in tatters after this, forcing her live performances to be canceled.
03:46What do I know?
03:48The muckbag drama, Nikocado Avocado. Originally releasing content on his vegan lifestyle and
03:53musical performances, Nicholas Perry, aka Nikocado Avocado, had a rebrand in 2016,
03:59as he moved into muckbang videos. This involved him eating massive portions of food for the viewers
04:04to enjoy.
04:04If I can't cook ramen this, I can't cook anything.
04:08In 2019, Perry collaborated with Stephanie Su for one such project. However, shortly after,
04:14she released a video that accused him of abusive behavior. Perry responded with his own content,
04:19disputing the claims. However, when that didn't help his image, Perry began releasing one strange
04:24video after another, one of which he claimed he spoke to Jesus.
04:27Oh my god. I am Jesus.
04:32Su later released another video to counter Perry's allegations. However, Perry later claimed the
04:37feud was manufactured between him and Su for attention.
04:40That type of storytelling has the power to destroy somebody.
04:46Body shaming rant, Blair White. As a conservative commentator who has criticized the LGBTQIA plus
04:52community, despite her own identity, Blair White isn't often far away from controversy.
04:57In 2022, she found a new target, overweight people.
05:00I hate when people lie and say that it is healthy to be fat. I hate when people disregard science for
05:05the sake of feelings. While she stated in the video she wouldn't give unsolicited advice about
05:09someone's body, White did just that during hers. Titled, Fat Positivity TikTok is Insane.
05:16She recorded herself reacting to a collection of TikTok videos that are positive about being their
05:20size. It's like, do they understand people die being this weight? Do you understand you're not
05:24going to exist at that weight at 55, 60, 70 years old? Instead of offering support, White ranted
05:30against them. While she added that in some cases, being overweight isn't about lifestyle,
05:35she brushed every person she commented on with the belief that it was their fault and that they
05:39weren't discriminated against like other groups. However, the moment you start acting like you're
05:43doing something revolutionary by being that is the moment I'm going to say something.
05:47My Abuse Story, Matthew Santoro. In 2016, Matthew Santoro stepped away from his usual educational
05:53content to release an emotional video titled, My Abuse Story.
05:57I didn't expect this at all. The video was originally made in 2015, but was accidentally
06:03released by Santoro months later. Throughout it, while he doesn't name the ex-partner, Santoro
06:08detailed the abuse he sustained, how he was attacked and separated from friends and family.
06:13While it's a heartbreaking watch, Santoro's bravery in making it is incredible.
06:17You think, was it my fault? There's an indescribable amount of emotions that go through your body
06:25when something like that happens. Before the video was released, his friend, Rob Gavigan,
06:30formerly known as Rob Dyke, previously claimed the partner was Nicole Arbor, who's best known
06:34for her terrible Dear Fat People video. Arbor denied the allegations on her channel.
06:39I've never been nicer to a human being in my life.
06:43Pressured to be perfect, Hannah Malosh.
06:45On the surface, YouTubers appear to have it all together. With chirpy personalities all the time,
06:50it looks like an easy life. However, behind the scenes, it can be very different. Known for her
06:55beauty and vlog content, in 2019, Hannah Malosh stripped back the curtain.
07:00At this point, like, I just don't want to care. I just don't want to care so badly.
07:04Titled, I Don't Know Anymore, Malosh opened the video with a disclaimer that while she was
07:08recording a normal video, she had a breakdown.
07:11Part of me feels like having a breakdown on camera, like, isn't appropriate.
07:15But to be honest with her fans, she wanted them to see what her mental health is like.
07:18As it got underway, Malosh emotionally discusses the pressure she's under to create perfect content,
07:23as well as being lost and confused. She hoped this video would develop a more positive online
07:28community.
07:29I'm trying my best.
07:30Star Wars Tantrum, Christian Harloff.
07:33The Star Wars fandom doesn't have the best reputation, as it's often considered one of the
07:37most toxic. Well, Christian Harloff did little to alleviate this in 2019. Host of Collider's Jedi
07:42Council, he was annoyed that he wasn't invited to experience Disney's new theme park area,
07:47Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.
07:48You know what I'm going to talk about Galaxy's Edge? In two years when I go.
07:51Yeah.
07:51Because, am I a little butthurt? No, I'm a lot butthurt.
07:55Instead, two women from the company were. So, Harloff refused to promote the place during
08:00the podcast, Collider Live. This led to him arguing with the producer live on air, as Dirty
08:05Laundry was aired publicly.
08:06You started the show by saying you're not going to talk about it on Jedi Council, which is
08:09your show, but you're not the producer of it.
08:12I am, actually.
08:13The producer pointed out that Harloff had to talk about it, but still, he wouldn't budge.
08:18Not long after this moment went viral, Harloff departed Collider.
08:21But why do that on the air? Why do that on the air?
08:23Why would you start this on the air?
08:25Because you could have a conversation with me afterwards and say to me, hey, I wish you
08:28wouldn't have done that.
08:28Judge Screaming, Eric Von Conover.
08:30With his travel YouTube channel, Eric Conover typically showcases very expensive properties
08:35across the US, but occasionally in other countries, too.
08:38However, everything changed for him in 2025, when he was arrested for allegedly running
08:42over a police officer after he was pulled over for speeding.
08:46During his arraignment hearing, which Conover attended virtually, he snapped.
08:50At one point, he ranted that if everyone attempted to question his mental competence, he would
08:54eviscerate them with his intelligence.
08:56If anyone dares try to test my mental competence, I will eviscerate every single person with my
09:02intelligence right now.
09:03Yikes.
09:04He even sobbed when his mother was on camera.
09:06Conover was denied bail and has been charged with attempted murder.
09:09I have everything right here and it's all been falsified.
09:129 to 5.
09:13Jessie Taylor.
09:14Typically, when people call the police, it's due to a crime happening.
09:17But for Jessie Taylor, she contacted them because her Instagram account was terminated, which
09:21she likened to a murder.
09:22But it doesn't stop there.
09:23In 2019, Taylor, who had a history of controversial comments, then put a video on YouTube, tearfully
09:30begging viewers to stop reporting her Instagram account.
09:32I have nothing without my following.
09:35I have nothing without my following.
09:38She claims she wasn't cut out for a 9 to 5 job, stating she makes her living online.
09:42And I know people like to see me be down and be like them and be like the 90 percenters,
09:48the people that work 9 to 5.
09:50That is not me.
09:51Taylor also added, none of you would last in my shoes.
09:54Unsurprisingly, commenters were less than moved, instead telling her to learn a trade.
09:58Instagram confirmed they mistakenly deleted her account after it was reported as spam
10:02many times.
10:03I am not work material.
10:05I will never be work material.
10:07Terrifying pronouns.
10:09Heel vs. Babyface.
10:10Every day, all of us use pronouns many, many times.
10:14Yet for conservative influencers, nothing is apparently more terrifying than that.
10:18In 2023, the video game Starfield was released.
10:21Its character creation page allowed players to choose the pronouns that their character uses.
10:25Rather than barely register this nice bit of inclusion, Az, who runs the Heel vs. Babyface
10:30YouTube account, made it a massive deal.
10:32Did you want to get immersed in our world?
10:34Yeah, well, guess what?
10:35F***ing pronouns!
10:38F***ing gender ambiguity!
10:40While streaming the game, he ranted with lots of expletives about how pronoun picking
10:44took him away from the immersive RPG experience.
10:47Because we're boring!
10:49We're so f***ing boring!
10:52He called the developers, Besita, boring, and implied this is a Californian issue, despite
10:57pronouns being used worldwide.
10:59It's unbelievable how this minor, inclusive selection could elicit such an overreaction
11:03from Az.
11:04And you wonder why people are getting so f***ing sick!
11:07And tired!
11:08Help Me, Marina Joyce.
11:10In 2016, social media was concerned after Marina Joyce posted a fashion video.
11:14After all, she seemingly whispered, help me.
11:17And this is the dress that I'm wearing?
11:22This sparked hashtag Save Marina Joyce to trend as people believed she was being held
11:27hostage, perhaps by an extremist group.
11:29Joyce later requested money on social media to have a temple built for her in Machu Picchu
11:34since she believed she was a deity.
11:36After the story died down, Joyce found herself in more drama when she seemingly vanished for
11:4010 days in 2019.
11:41In 2022, she addressed what happened in a strange video, stating that she had mental
11:46health issues and had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
11:49However, she claimed to have cured her MS with unconventional treatment, despite there
11:53being no cure currently.
11:54I want to tell people how I cured my MS medicinally and holistically, so like, I used herbs to
12:02cure my MS.
12:03Fake Tears, Laura Lee.
12:05Every so often, a celebrity or influencer will find their career collapse when past problematic
12:10posts on social media are discovered.
12:12In 2018, it was Laura Lee's turn, as her racist messages were unearthed.
12:17The beauty YouTuber quickly deleted her old posts, yet still, sponsors dropped her, and
12:22Lee lost around 200,000 subscribers.
12:25So, she released an apology video.
12:27And boy, did that not go well.
12:29I, six years ago, decided to retweet things that were so vile.
12:39She dramatically sobbed throughout, giving viewers flashbacks to awkward high school drama
12:44classes.
12:44As such, the video came across as insincere and performative.
12:48I can't believe I didn't see the pain behind that kind of tweet.
12:54With the backlash mounting, and losing 500,000 subscribers, Lee deleted the video, and released
13:00another apology.
13:01However, that didn't go too well, as Lee was seemingly reading from a script.
13:05I'm taking it off my channel because it does not represent the human being that I am today.
13:10Milestone Emotion, Markiplier.
13:12It's not always rage, fear, or another negative emotion that can cause a YouTuber to break
13:16down.
13:17Sometimes, it's a wholesome reason.
13:19And I'm ready to be inundated with emotions, so here we go.
13:24In 2015, Mark Edward Fischbach, better known as Markiplier, hit the milestone of 6 million
13:29subscribers.
13:30So, not afraid of sharing his emotions online, he wanted to showcase his reaction to a fan-made
13:35music video that was created for the accomplishment.
13:37Using a cover song from the soundtrack of the video game, To The Moon, many, many fans held
13:42up paper with the lyrics as the music played.
13:45I knew I was gonna cry like a big baby.
13:47The emotional tune, and the abundance of fans who took the time to celebrate this achievement,
13:52caused Fischbach to have tears streaming down his face throughout the video.
13:55Oh, man.
13:56Stream Arrest.
13:57FouseyTube.
13:58As YouTube was slowly building into an online powerhouse, Yusuf Selah Erakat, aka FouseyTube,
14:05or Fousey, was one of the platform's original practical jokers.
14:08In 2023, he was marathon streaming on Kik when he began arguing with other creators.
14:13Erakat soon claimed he was being stalked and threatened, resulting in him calling the police
14:18for fear of his life.
14:19My life is in danger.
14:21Then, to speed up the response, he screamed that a firearm was being held against his head.
14:25When the officers arrived, Erakat quickly turned hostile on them, yelling obscenities,
14:30resulting in the handcuffs being put on him.
14:32Oh, hey, we're recording this.
14:33Security!
14:34Come in here now!
14:36But he continued shouting, claiming he was going to sue them.
14:38However, rather than arrest him, the cops took Erakat to a hospital for a psychiatric assessment.
14:43Hey, free Fousey!
14:45Nearly Sick, Onision.
14:47From making skits since the early days of YouTube, James Jackson, aka Onision, saw his
14:52career come crashing down as one accusation of misconduct and abuse after another came
14:57out.
14:57In 2019, he doxed one of his apparent abuse victims, causing him to be banned from Patreon.
15:03As such, he seemingly went into a meltdown, releasing many videos showing unstable behavior.
15:08In one, called Left, Jackson acted like a 90s tween and packed his bags to leave as he
15:14ranted at the camera about his life falling apart.
15:17I'm leaving, and this is it.
15:19Throughout, with his emotions getting the best of him, he gagged multiple times, seemingly
15:24stopping himself from throwing up.
15:26Is this what you like?
15:29The clip eventually ended with him sobbing in his car.
15:32Onision later claimed his meltdown saga was faked.
15:34Kitchen Cry, Trisha Paytas
15:40In 2016, one of the most famous meltdown videos dropped on YouTube.
15:44While sitting on her kitchen floor in a UCLA shirt, Trisha Paytas recorded her reaction to
15:48the news that her then-partner, Sean Vanderwilt, was possibly cheating on her and is gay.
15:54I don't know what to do, he slugged me!
15:56She sobbed intensely as she struggled to get words out, detailing how she found out the
16:00news and the history of their relationship.
16:02The video took off online, morphing into a series of infamous memes.
16:06I've lost my best friend!
16:12Later, Paytas went into detail that she was struggling with depression at the time,
16:15leading to her dramatic video.
16:17But thankfully, Paytas is doing much better today.
16:20You know, whatever it is, whatever love looks like to you, may they find it.
16:22Vicious at the visually impaired, James Charles
16:25According to an interview with Seventeen Magazine in 2016, James Charles stated he was
16:30legally blind.
16:31With that in mind, you'd think he'd have a lot more sympathy with the visually impaired
16:34community, but no.
16:35In 2025, the beauty influencer released a video on TikTok ranting about tactile paving, which
16:41is often on sidewalks to help those with sight troubles know of changes or potential danger
16:46nearby.
16:46Charles called the concept stupid.
16:48Like, what is the purpose of them?
16:49Can somebody genuinely explain it to me if you are, like, a f***ing civil engineer?
16:53He stated his big issue, with them being outside grocery stores, was shaking his shopping
16:57cart, causing the contents to have a seizure.
17:00Right.
17:01The backlash to the insensitive video caused Charles to quickly delete it, damaging his
17:05reputation further.
17:06What is the point of those f***ing bumps?
17:09Before we continue, be sure to subscribe to our channel and ring the bell to get notified
17:14about our latest videos.
17:15You have the option to be notified for occasional videos or all of them.
17:19If you're on your phone, make sure you go into your settings and switch on notifications.
17:25Oh my god, Shane Dawson.
17:27After Toddy Westbrook's 2019 video, Bye Sister, that detailed allegations about James Charles
17:32and created massive drama in the beauty community, in 2020, she followed up with Breaking My Silence.
17:39This video spoke about her being allegedly manipulated by Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson into making
17:44the original content.
17:45For some reason, Dawson decided that live-streaming his reaction to watching Westbrook's video
17:50on Instagram was a good decision.
17:52It was not.
17:53You are fake crying!
17:54You are fake crying!
17:55That is not real!
17:56Oh my god!
17:58With over 250,000 people watching, Dawson yelled at Westbrook repeatedly, despite it being
18:03pre-recorded media, all while uttering, oh my god, over and over again.
18:07Oh my god.
18:08Seeing that it wasn't going well, his now-husband, Ryland Adams, called for Dawson to get off
18:13the stream, which he thankfully did.
18:14Oh my god.
18:15What's the most iconic meltdown that's ever been caught on camera from a celebrity or influencer?
18:20Let us know below.
18:21Oh god, this is crazy!
18:23Bye!
