00:00All right, people, it's Jaxxer, and I'm here to do an unboxing for you guys today of Pokemon
00:06Let's Go, Pikachu, and Eevee. Decided to do this in one video because, well, these are basically
00:11the same game. They're just separated by the box Pokemon and everything. So yeah, these are
00:16somewhat remakes of Gen 1, but they're more so remakes of Pokemon Yellow, which was sort of
00:23a remix of Gen 1 to be more like the anime. So yeah, and split between having Pikachu as
00:33your partner or Eevee as your partner. But they're also, like, pseudo sequels, I believe,
00:40to the original Gen 1 games. It's really weird from what I can tell. Like, you're not, you're
00:47technically not playing as Red. You're playing as a new character who is taking the same place
00:52in the narrative of Yellow. So, yeah. But yeah. So here we go with the front of Let's Go, Pikachu,
01:02and you have this really nice artwork of Pikachu right here with a Pokeball. Pokemon Let's Go,
01:07Pikachu, ready to eat for everyone. Switch and everything. So yeah. So here we go with the
01:14spine. You have the name of the game, Pokemon Company, Nintendo. And on the back, an electrifying
01:20adventure with Pikachu. A first Pokemon adventure for everyone. So yeah, and this has Pokemon Go
01:26mechanics mixed in with it, because this was released, like, two years, I believe, after
01:31Pokemon Go came out. And then, since the Switch had the, uh, the Joy-Cons with the, or has the Joy-Cons
01:37with the, uh, uh, same or similar mechanics, they decided to implement the Go mechanics into there.
01:44So, yeah. So yeah. With the, like, gyroscope and, uh, um, whatever. The, basically the same
01:51functionality as the Wiimotes. So yeah. Um, so you got all the stuff on here with screenshots
01:58and everything. And you can see Jesse and James in there from the anime. And like I said, these are
02:03remixed of Yellow rather than Gen 1, uh, or the original versions of Gen 1. So, yeah.
02:09Um, so here we go. You got a map of Kanto, which is really cool. You got Moltres, I believe,
02:16right there. Zaptos right there. And Archicuno right there. And Mewtwo. So yeah. I really wish
02:22they had just did, or done, uh, straight remakes of Gen 1 rather than this. But granted, they
02:27already did that, like, in, I think it was, what, 2004 or 5, something like that, with
02:32FireRed and LeafGreen. Granted, I also wish they would put the, uh, Game Boy Pokemon games
02:38onto the Switch, uh, Virtual Console apps. So yeah. But yeah. And then you have the, uh,
02:46cartridge right there. So yeah. So I'm gonna get Let's Go Eevee with Eevee on the front
02:53right there. E for everyone. And I think they went with Eevee mainly because it's one of
02:58the other, like, cute Pokemon that they could market to kids. So yeah. And these games are
03:03definitely geared more towards kids. So yeah. This is an exciting, uh, adventure
03:08with Eevee. You got mostly the screen, the same screenshots. Mine has a couple. There's
03:13Eevee and I think this one's different with Psyduck as opposed to Mr. Mime. I'm assuming
03:18that those are two of the exclusives across these games. So yeah. Uh, this screenshot is
03:24mostly, or not even the same. That's funny. Because the character, your character's writing
03:29Grydon. There's the DoeDuo right here, writing Onyx. There's, uh, Rapidash, Psyduck, Dodrio,
03:38another Psyduck right there. Um, okay. And the player character's right there. And there's
03:45a, uh, that's just the sign. But it's the same, it's the same place. Plus it's a slightly
03:51different perspective because it's different, it's slightly different on the map. So yeah.
03:55Um, this screenshot's also slightly different. It's the same place. It's just shifted overwards
04:01or over, um, a bit depending on what you're looking at. This screenshot's also different.
04:08Interesting. I would have thought they would be mostly the same minus a few details. So yeah.
04:15So here we go on the inside. Same map of Kanto with the legendaries and the, uh, cartridge. So yeah.
04:24So yeah. So that's basically it. So yeah. Link in the description on my shit. Subscribe
04:30for once and I'll see you guys in the next one.
