A Level and AS students across Carmarthenshire have collected their results today, Thursday 14 August 2025, with a total of 94.9% of students achieving grade A*-E at A level and 87.1% achieving grade A -E at AS level. Through both exams and assessments, applicable to different courses, a total of 23.6% of A level students across Carmarthenshire have received A or A* this year; 18.7% of the county’s AS students in Carmarthenshire achieved A grades. Cabinet Member for Education and Welsh Language, Cllr. Glynog Davies said:“Congratulations to our young people across Carmarthenshire who have received their A level and AS results today. “These results are a testament to your hard work and dedication. I would also like to thank the teachers, support staff, families and friends of our A level students for the support they have shown. I wish you all the very best in the future.” In a joint statement, Carmarthenshire County Council’s Chief Executive, Wendy Walters and Director of Education and Children’s Services, Owain Lloyd added: “Congratulations to Carmarthenshire’s A level and AS students on their results today. On behalf of Carmarthenshire County Council, we would like to thank you for your tremendous efforts as well as extending thanks to your support networks including teachers, support staff, families and friends for their role in your success.
