00:00Warsaw is set to become a center of military celebration as the city prepares for the 105th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw and Poland's Armed Forces Day.
00:10The day will be marked by a solemn parade with more than 4,000 soldiers and 300 units of military equipment from Poland and NATO countries.
00:18Defilada is the role of the powerful and victorious army.
00:21We say in the name of the society, to the soldiers, that we accept the service.
00:25We care about the safety and defilada, of course, has such a role.
00:29Warsaw's Wyslawstrada will feature state-of-the-art weaponry, not normally paraded in public.
00:34Nearly 200 soldiers from Allied units will also descend on the capital to take part.
00:40We are very happy that every year our soldiers and partners will join us.
00:46On the island, the French units will join us.
00:51They will join the Rumunians and the Americans.
00:54However, when it comes to the sky, we will see the Swedish gripen, German and French.
01:01In addition to that, the Australian AWACS will also fly.
01:05For the first time, a naval parade in the Baltic Sea will also be held, with 20 ships as well as hydrographic and rescue vessels appearing in waters around hell.
01:14This year, we have the opportunity to show our equipment on the Baltic Sea.
01:19The parade, which will be held at the Półwyspu Helskiego,
01:24you will be able to see it and observe it from the land,
01:28which will be formed from 20 ships of the Polish ships.
01:31Armed Forces Day is also an opportunity for direct contact with the army.
01:36There will be meeting zones with soldiers in Warsaw and across the country,
01:40where citizens can discuss recruitment and training.
01:43This is quite amazing. This is a social phenomenon.
01:46A lot of people are interested in such short training.
01:48They have never held weapons, and maybe they would like it.
01:51Maybe they don't want to be connected to their entire life,
01:54to the entire level of the army,
01:55although there are also tens of thousands in the sky of the year.
01:58Poland's Armed Forces Day commemorates the victorious Battle of Warsaw in August 1920,
02:03when Poland defeated the Red Army.
02:06105 years later, the parade remains a symbol of remembrance and national pride.
