ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 25 ಲಕ್ಷ ಎಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ದಾರರಿದ್ದು, 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ಗೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ನೀಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ.ಹೆಚ್.ಮುನಿಯಪ್ಪ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
