00:00So, just when we thought it was safe, Michael, to turn back our TVs on, it wasn't safe.
00:08I don't know if that made any sense.
00:10But listen, their show was panned by critics on Netflix.
00:17But hold on, they're back.
00:19What's going on?
00:20So, if you look at the numbers, Netflix said that Meghan Markle's show 5.3 million views.
00:30In that same six-month period, the first six months of this year, their most popular show was Adolescence, and that had 145 million views.
00:40So, that tells you that it was certainly nowhere close.
00:45In fact, Netflix went one step further, and they said that it's not even in their top 300 most popular shows.
00:52How embarrassing.
00:54So, I won't editorialize, but I will say that while they haven't signed or announced a new deal, I think from a Netflix point of view, it makes perfect sense.
01:07So, hear me out.
01:08If you believe that Harry and Meghan are going to remain Harry and Meghan in California, then it makes sense for there to be no deal.
01:20But, if you believe that the Duke and Duchess will at some point end up back in Buckingham Palace, then it makes perfect sense to be the streaming service that has the best relationship with them, and has maintained that relationship, so that when the time comes for there to be a reality show, perhaps, that you are perfectly positioned to be the ones to make that pitch.
