00:00It's a plant that really knows how to dress up. Its flowers look just like delicate earring pendants.
00:05This plant is called Euonymus obovatus. Many people think its flowers look like they were
00:09artificially glued on. Because its flowers are slender, spike-like in fluorescences that grow
00:14along the leaf surface, the roots grow from the base of the leaf and extend along its direction,
00:19with the flowers blooming right on the leaf surface. This allows the flowers to be in the
00:23most visible position, making it easier for pollinators to find them. Its fruit is an inverted
00:28triangle in shape. When mature, the fruit turns pink and naturally splits open. Inside, it reveals
00:34seeds wrapped in a red Oreo that looks like a dewdrop. The wild distribution of Euonymus obovatus
00:39is mainly found in China. In autumn, their leaves turn pink, creating a stunning and beautiful display.
