00:00her twenties who had been passionate about the ocean and marine life since she was a child.
00:05She had always dreamed of becoming an orca trainer. Imagine that kind of dream. As a kid,
00:10she would travel with her family just to watch marine shows, standing in front of the huge glass
00:15tanks at aquariums, watching in awe until the very end. When she grew older, she decided to
00:21chase that dream. She entered the world of killer whale, or orca, training. During her training,
00:28she began working at a large, famous marine park. Within just a few years, she became well-known,
00:34admired by her team, loved by the audience, and respected by everyone. People would even visit
00:40the park specifically to see Jessica perform with her massive orca named Titan. In interviews,
00:46Jessica would often say, this whale is a part of me. There's no way he could hurt me, even if he's
00:51several times bigger than I am. That deep trust was what made the audience enjoy their incredible
00:56connection so much. I actually remember seeing one of her videos on Instagram before I even heard
01:01this story. The harmony between her and Titan was unreal. It made me wonder how trainers could
01:07get a whale to perform like that, almost as if they were having a conversation. Watching it live
01:12must have been a hundred times.
