00:00It's about time. That's all we have.
00:03Another moment, another day, another week, another month, another year and then it's over.
00:07Done. Finished.
00:08Let me be personal for a moment.
00:11I'm 78.
00:12You're not going to be here that much longer.
00:14All my homeboys, homegirls, most of them that I've known and loved, they're gone.
00:20You know, I'm one of the last guys standing.
00:23And the clock is ticking.
00:27You've only got a little bit of time.

01:58and it's involuntarily it's not like i'm telling my heart to beat or i'm telling my kidneys to work
02:03it's not like my my my blood and everything is being synthesized and oxygen it's my eyes blinking
02:10you know creating water so it goes across you know some of the lens of the eyes it's not
02:14the taste and all the things just happen we take for granted if you just stop for a moment you know
02:19that all this organization you would not say that it just happened by chance accidents they don't
02:28create masterpieces and masterpieces themselves which are valuable just take a painting you know
02:34i mean somebody told me yesterday or the other day that there's a painting that's worth like 780
02:40million dollars and it's still increasing in value it's just paper it's just ink and it has that kind
02:46of value and how many different factors went into that painting a brush the paint the painter his idea
02:52you know other kinds of things but what about the heavens what went into that what about the
02:58earth and all the the all the factors on the earth the face of the earth inside the earth
03:02what about that what about inside of our bodies what about that you know i mean look let's let me
03:07be personal for a moment i'm 78 and i thank god you know i mean that i still have a reasonable amount
03:14of energy i can still think you know i'm saying i'm moving around in the past six months i've been in
03:21out of seven different countries you know i'm saying so i mean i'm grateful but certainly you start
03:28to know that you're not going to be here that much longer and if if you didn't get that at 28 you
03:34definitely got it at 68 78 because you get closer to the reality of life is leaving you're going to be
03:44gone others have gone all my homeboys home girls most of them that i've known and loved
03:50they're gone you know i'm one of the last guys standing by the grace of almighty god so you know
03:57this reality you don't have to be 78 to come to that reality you can come to that reality if you
04:02open your mind or somebody offers you something and the quran came as a divine discourse to human
04:09beings came to the human beings to remind them that life is very short it is profound but very
04:17short and temporary because it's like i can remember when i was i was talking with you a little
04:24while ago that when i was 18 years old i was in the military man i thought i could really conquer the
04:30world i thought i was going to be somebody something but it turns out that i'm not that much more than
04:36anybody i mean i've been through a lot but think about it comparatively it went so fast just like
04:45that it's gone most of the desires i had things i wanted to do but almighty god knows that maybe what
04:52i wanted wasn't good for me he didn't give me that he gave me something else it's about being grateful
04:58and knowing that it's temporary and that you've got only a certain amount of time and the clock is ticking
05:04if you could hear that click every single day and that click was all saying you only got a little
05:13bit of time you got only another and if you knew what day you were going to die how more concentrated
05:20and focused would you be but the creator he didn't give us that all of you who are listening right now
05:26think about it i mean how profound the creator is he's swearing by the time the capsule of time that
05:33that little bit of time that everybody has he's swearing by that because it's about time
05:39that's all we have another moment another day another week another month another year and then
05:45it's over done finished we're supposed to reflect upon that and do the best with that portion of time
05:51that we can and be grateful we fancy ourselves we think that we're going to do this and that and
05:57we got some power and all that there but you know when you get a stomach ache or you get a little
06:02pain in your heart you know what i'm saying you stumble and fall or you choke on a glass of water
06:06or whatever it is you really start realizing really how small that we are how insignificant how vulnerable
06:13that we are so with all of this here we know that our purpose on life is not enjoyment
06:20we know that our purpose of life is not to be here forever we know that our purpose of life is not to
06:29have and hold we know that our purpose in life is not to really control anything the purpose that
06:36we are here and to recognize that purpose is who we are what should we be doing and when the human
06:43being also understands what their role is in this world then they have purpose there could be the doubters
06:53there could be the haters but at the end of the day everything has to have a purpose otherwise it
06:59wouldn't make sense that was amazing wow you almost made me cry like you said before the masterpiece the
07:06the 700 million dollar art no one would ever in their right mind say that that art like the mona lisa
07:13let's just say the mona lisa drew itself it's absolutely impossible so it's just amazing when you actually
07:18stopped to think about the intricate details of the universe how perfectly designed it is it
07:23couldn't possibly be created without a designer without an intelligent design behind it you know
07:29there's a um there's a a metaphor that i sometimes i give to people uh who think that they're great or
07:37they're so profound or they talk about um you know like everything just came together like a big bang or
07:42something like that okay big bang so think about this a one mile square junkyard i mean all the junk
07:51all the scrap from all the cars and everything is just dumped there so if a plane a helicopter flew
07:58over that and dropped a huge bomb big bang on that junkyard do you think that all of a sudden it would
08:07wind up into rolls royces you understand me and lexus and all of that there when the bomb just
08:11the smoke cleared no it wouldn't masterpieces do not come from chaos organization doesn't come
08:18from disorganization no there is from the very beginning there is some word there's some power
08:24there's some design that was sent out that we don't understand we might be able to have an idea
08:29of it from looking at it from a perspective but we don't have an idea but what has happened is that
08:36this whole world and what we consider the cosmos itself it came from a design a word a command
08:44from a post from a point that has the power that has the resources to give a command and when that
08:52command happens all the phenomena that we have seen and that has been evolved is happening still
08:57happening until a certain time and it ends that's the purpose of life to understand that it's just so
09:03true like how can people possibly think perfection can come from an accident you know
09:10of all the creatures the only one that has intellect is the human being elephants they don't elephants
09:19are huge animals lions they're huge but through intellect human beings are able to capture elephants and
09:27put them in the cage capture lions and put them in the cage hold the key the elephant doesn't know
09:34it's in a cage it can be trained lion doesn't know but the human being has intellect so they can capture
09:41they can control they can measure they can manipulate because we've given this intellect we've given this
09:49some some measured some limited measured power over other things in creation the price for that
10:00is responsibility and accountability that shows that we have a different role to play
10:07yeah that's so true like if you think about it everything in life serves a purpose everything is created so
10:13perfectly to sustain the balance of this ecosystem but then you look at humans what's their benefit if
10:20anything we're causing more destruction we're polluting the environment we're causing so much
10:25rubbish we're building skyscrapers we're cutting down trees so when you really think about it i feel
10:30like our purpose is beyond this life so the whole idea is that human beings are here in order to learn
10:37not just to enjoy ourselves we're not here in this life to collect things the lesson of life give
10:45to give more refinement to their society to the best of their ability in order that they earn the rewards
10:53of that test just like we go to school in order to be tested and get a reward and in this environment
10:59you mentioned that we are custodians how unique that is we are supposed to be the custodians of the earth
11:05and as you mentioned we are the ones destroying the earth
11:09we're supposed to be refining things for other people
11:12you know we're supposed to be building civilizations and making them profound for the benefit of human beings
11:17and offering even a way to sustain this amount of time that we're on the earth
11:23to benefit even the rest of the earth that's what we're supposed to do
11:27and we have the capacity to do that for some time
11:31life is in front of you but right behind life right behind the curtain the death is there
11:36but the intelligent person the the the wise person the sensitive person the one that has that connection
11:44knows the reality behind that screen and that's why we pray five times a day that's why we praise god
11:51because also we've been told in the quran definitely everything we belong to almighty god
12:00and definitely back to almighty god will we all return it's the discourse of the quran
12:09it's the voice of god it's the divine message before you know it you're dead you're in the grave
12:16and you're headed to paradise or you're dead you're in the grave and hellfire is right in front of you
12:21but guess what you only got a moment to make that choice
12:24i read something really interesting in the quran actually the other day it just reminded me
12:28it says that everything that lives must taste death i love the wording of that taste yeah experience
12:36interesting it made me think like what exactly is death it's something that our soul is tasting
12:42you're not really dying at the time but you're able to experience and see and even when you actually
12:50die it's just part of the cycle that he has put you into because you're going to another level
12:56you're transitioning from this earthly life to another life so it's not like death and into
13:03non-existence that's why he's using the word taste experience i feel like death is kind of like
13:10when the baby is in the mother's womb if we went to speak to that baby and say to it look you're going to
13:16a better place where you get to run and play and eat and taste and see and smell but the baby
13:22might say no i'm comfortable in here i'm safe i don't i don't know what's out there i don't believe
13:27that there's anything else after this if you think about it like deeply the baby inside the mother's
13:32womb hasn't reached its potential that's a very similar analogy to our afterlife after death when we
13:38taste that death it's a transition into our maximum potential into eternity into this real world where we
13:45actually belong we we haven't reached our maximum potential with our emotions with our
13:50feelings we this longing for eternity with being with our loved ones forever and ever there's so
13:56much suffering and pain in this world we don't want that you know lily j this is the whole idea that
14:02we're not here permanently we're here for a test this is a stage it may be like a long stage it seems
14:10like 70 years a long time but when you look back it not so long it's just like that and so
14:17the idea here is that in the discourse we've been told we've been promised in fact and this is the
14:23point that i want to make here is that the creator has made some promises guarantees that you mentioned
14:33death one of the things that the creator has guaranteed is that there that this life is temporary and
14:42he's the creator has guaranteed that you're going to exit transition from this life into death and he's
14:49guaranteed that after death you're going to enter another stage of consciousness and that stage of
14:58consciousness you're going to enter there's going to be one or two extremes it really is difficult to
15:04believe that all of this is a coincidence so then if this really is made by an intelligent designer we
15:10need to see what this creator is saying to us and i'm assuming this is through the books and through
15:16the scriptures and through the prophets and messengers well little j listen we've been given life as a
15:22package so you know there has to be a divine manual a divine discourse these are instructions
15:30in fact i could call it like it's a gps that's what it is i mean who would buy a phone today if it
15:39didn't have the capability of giving them a gps it just eliminated the need to ask where how can i
15:46to pull over and ask somebody a question to where we're going to can i can you help me tell me where
15:51them guys so it just eliminated all of that so then you don't think that the one that created us
15:56would have given to us a divine gps most certainly you're basically saying that in life if you don't
16:06follow the gps's instructions you get lost the gps is not just about the destination either
16:11it's also about the journey it's about getting us the quickest and easiest route to our destination
16:18that's correct that's just an absolute beautiful analogy for anybody who's really
16:22listening but everybody doesn't listen and you remember a human being can override common sense
16:31the human being can override the gps the human being has something called ego leading to arrogance
16:39selfishness ignorance you know the human being has that capacity and that's part of the test
16:47to put that in check part of that gps is the final testament because inside of that there's
16:56also the human template prophethood and inside that template it's the manners the behaviors the
17:03interactions and all the responsibilities and all that because the one that created us knows the
17:10creation the best the one that created us knows what's best for us so this manual it came to us
17:20through prophets and messengers the creator sent human examples to show human beings how to go through this
17:31life get the best out of this life how to service others in this life how to serve themselves in this life
17:37how to optimize their life and also how to prepare themselves for the here after here you know the one
17:45that knows has spoken and spoken through an organized clearly recognizable understandable discourse and if you
18:01if you follow that discourse if you follow those advices if you reflect on those stories and those instructions or those commands you're going to reach the destination properly
18:15this is the the whole real objective preparing ourselves for here and after here and so what we want to say to people listening is
18:27take the time look into your purpose in life use the tools that's already there examine the gps that's available for everybody today because
18:38nobody needs to go to a store nobody can say i never read the quran i don't even know how to get a quran do i go to a mosque well guess what technology
18:47has eliminated all that now just tap your phone follow the discourse in this case
18:53it's that final discourse called the quran it really upsets me on my channel when people are in my comments
18:59arguing and fighting about which is the right manual why do we get all stuck on all the intricate details and all the differences
19:06why can't we all come together and focus on the similarities and realize hey we're all here for a test
19:12we're all created by the same creator so we've got the old testament we've got the new testament and then we've got the final testament
19:19the quran a slow progression of stages of laws implemented over time it's like from primary school to university
19:27that's good and i think if if all of our listeners
19:30we'll step back for a moment and just reflect on what we've discussed at this point
19:36you'll see that there's a progression it's not just religion it's not just belief it's a discourse
19:44from almighty god so this creator has given to us life to breathe to recognize and give us all these tools
19:53that we have it is to recognize that creator to be humble enough inside of ourselves to recognize
19:59and not only recognize but to say thank you i mean if i gave you a thousand dollars how grateful would you be
20:06well the creator gave us more than that this shows you how ungrateful human beings are you don't think
20:11that you owe anything and that's why the purpose of life it is to connect with your creator to know
20:18god recognize god praise god to be grateful so you and i we should pray we should work do our best
20:25to offer what we have to the people but at the end we should know that it's the determination
20:31or the decree of the almighty as to who's god and who's not guided
20:35wow this discussion was just amazing i'm feeling so like refreshed and so focused after all of this
20:44i hope everyone at home listening to this is feeling what i'm feeling right now because that was just
20:49so amazing so thank you so much for that so what do you guys think
20:52you
