Noida: A 15-month-old girl was slapped, bitten, thrown to the ground, and hit with a plastic bat by a nanny at a local day care, an incident captured on CCTV. The assault took place on August 4 and came to light when the child’s mother found bite marks on her thighs after bringing her home. A doctor confirmed the injuries were consistent with human bites. Police said the accused, a minor, claimed she acted “out of love.” The parents also alleged the day care head failed to intervene and instead, along with the nanny, used abusive language and threatened them when confronted.

00:00And at the top of this hour, we're getting some breaking news.
00:02This is regarding the horrific assault of a 15-month-old toddler at a Noida daycare.
00:08Now, the latest update that is coming in is that the accused minor in her defense
00:12has said that she loves the child and whatever she did, did it with love.
00:17That is what the accused minor has said in her defense.
00:22According to the police, the accused is a minor.
00:24The accused said that she loves the girl and so she did it with love.
00:29But when the girl's family members got the girl examined by a doctor,
00:33the doctor said that there were teeth marks on the toddler's thigh.
00:38The police is now preparing a report on how a minor was employed in a daycare center
00:43and they are also investigating the license of the daycare center.
00:47That's the update that is coming in in the investigation of an assault of a 15-year-old toddler
00:55at a daycare center in Noida sector 137.
00:58As you can see in the visuals, the caretaker literally slapping, beating and also biting the 15-month-old toddler.
01:07And in her defense, she has said that she loves the child and whatever she did, she did it with love.
01:13My colleague Sreya Chatterjee is now joining us with more details on this.
01:17Sreya, although the accused has claimed that she loves the child and whatever she did, she did it with love.
01:24But there are clearly teeth marks on the thighs of the 15-month-old toddler.
01:28Well, absolutely, Anjali. You know, this justification that is coming in doesn't ring a bell because clearly the kind of torture that the child has undergone
01:36puts a huge question about the way this daycare center has been functioning.
01:44That is a question that needs to be also put forth before the daycare center because it's not about the employee alone.
01:51The one who's running the daycare center should be considering.
01:55It will be interesting to see that how police, in fact, reacts in this matter where there will be any plausible action against such daycare centers.
02:02This is not the first time we're seeing such a CCTV emerge of children being beaten inside daycare centers.
02:10Clearly, there needs to be more sensitivity adopted by those who open such businesses because it's only for safety reasons that people truck and send their children to such daycare centers.
02:20Absolutely. In fact, Sreya, another question that now arises is that we're learning that the accused was a minor.
02:26So how was a minor employed at a daycare center?
02:29Well, absolutely. And if you look at the CCTV, it's clearly showing that how she's actually beating the child and then also biting the child.
02:38So this is a question that raises on the person and her mindset as well.
02:44Though she's right now, as you're saying, that she's clarifying that she has no, I mean, ill intention and she's done it lovingly.
02:51But probably there needs to be more investigation into the person per se and also the protocol that such daycare centers have to be followed before hiring, I mean, employers for taking care of such children, minors and babies in the first place.
03:07Right. Sreya, what else has been found out in the investigation so far?
03:12Is she a repeat offender? What has been found out about her background?
03:19Well, that is something that is still under investigation, Anjali.
03:22There is a possibility, if at all, that this person is a repeat offender, whether there are multiple complaints against her or not.
03:30This is yet to be asserted. As of now, it's not been asserted by the police, is what we've been confirmed.
03:34Right. Sreya, do stay with us. So this is the update that is coming in.
03:42The accused minor in this horrific assault case of a 15-month-old toddler, she has justified her act, saying that whatever she did, she did it with love.
04:04So, a deeply disturbing case of child abuse has emerged from Noida's Sector 137 daycare facility.
04:24And these are the visuals, the CCTV visuals. The entire incident was caught on the CCTV, in which you can see the caretaker assaulting the 15-month-old toddler.
04:33She's literally beating, slapping, even throwing the child on the ground.
04:40And she has even bitten the 15-month-old toddler.
04:44The toddler has teeth marks on her thigh, and after which now, an FIR has been lodged against the caretaker, and action is being taken.
04:54But in her defense, the accused has said that she loves the child, and whatever she did, she did it with love.
05:01But clearly, there are teeth marks on the thighs of the 15-month-old toddler.
05:06Sreya, how can such incidents be avoided in the future?
05:11Should there be some monitoring mechanism to prevent such incidents at daycare facilities?
05:25Alright, we'll try to re-establish that connection with my colleague Sreya.
05:29But this is the worst nightmare for any working parent, leaving their child at a daycare facility,
05:36and then learning about their children being assaulted at the daycare facility,
05:42and by none other than the caretaker herself.
05:46So, in these visuals, you can see the caretaker throwing the child on the ground,
05:51even slapping her and biting her.
05:54There were teeth marks on the toddler's thigh, and after which, the parents complained,
06:01and the CCTV footages were examined, and then they found out these visuals.
06:08Investigation is underway.
06:09Action is being taken against the accused, but it has also emerged that the accused is a minor.
06:16So, another question that now arises is that how was a minor employed at this daycare?
06:21It also remains to be seen if this daycare was running legally,
06:25if it had a valid license to run the daycare center.
06:30So far, no action has been taken against the owners.
06:33The action has only been taken against the accused caretaker, and she's a minor.
06:39And in her defense, what she has claimed is that she loves the child,
06:42and whatever she did, she did it with love.
06:44But it is pertinent to note that there were clearly teeth marks
06:48on the thighs of the 15-month-old toddler.
06:56So, absolutely shocking visuals coming to the fore from a Noida daycare center.
07:02This is situated in sector 137, where the caretaker assaulted a 15-month-old girl.
07:09She smashed her head in the wall.
07:13She threw the child on the ground.
07:15She even bit the child, and there were teeth marks on her thigh.
07:21So, a deeply disturbing case of child abuse has emerged from a daycare center in Noida sector 137.
07:27A 15-month-old baby girl was allegedly bitten, slapped,
07:31and thrown to the ground by a maid entrusted with her care.
07:35Now, the incident was captured on the CCTV inside the daycare.
07:39The story came to light when the child's mother discovered bite marks on her daughter's thighs
07:43after picking her up on August 4.
07:46When the parents reviewed the CCTV footage from the daycare,
07:49they saw the maid slapping the toddler,
07:51hitting her with a plastic belt, and violently throwing her to the ground.
07:55When questioned, the daycare head allegedly did nothing to help the crying child
08:00and reportedly abused the parents.
08:02The accused maid has since been arrested by Noida police from sector 142,
08:06and a formal case has also been registered.
08:09According to the police, the accused is a minor,
08:11and in her defense, she claimed that whatever she did, she did it out of love.
08:16So, the daycare owners also did nothing,
08:19even after the parents had complained about the caretaker's behavior.
08:23It's horrifying and shocking.
08:27Actually, there are guidelines in place,
08:30but unfortunately, the state governments and the district administrations are lazy,
08:38and not implementing proper safety and security guidelines in place for the children.
08:44That's why these type of shocking and horrifying incidents are coming into the light.
08:49So, I must ask the state and the district administration
08:53to immediately implement the guidelines
08:56let down by the central government agencies
08:59for protection of children in such institutions.
09:02There are crutch guidelines,
09:04and these institutions should be monitored and properly registered
09:07under the various government regulatory authorities.
09:09So, these mechanisms should be in place in a proper manner.
09:13And my colleague, Arvind Ojha is now joining us with more details on this.
09:18Arvind,

14:32And when there is CCTV footage that India Today has access to the parents,
14:36then the parents get their hosts and then the F.I.R. is lodged.
14:42So, there is a daycare centre that is a minor recruit for minors
14:48and parents don't cooperate in the investigation.
14:51Yes, Arvind is being here.
14:52In fact, my colleague Arvind Doja spoke with the victim's father
14:56who has made some big allegations against the daycare centre.
14:59Listen in.
15:02Hello.
15:04How did you know that this was killed with your child?
15:09Sir, actually, the day this incident happened,
15:16the wife came to pick up the house from school
15:21and when she changed the diaper to the house,
15:25she saw some green colours of both sides of the house.
15:32So, she was scared.
15:34Yes.
15:35Yes.
15:36Then she called me and asked that this is what it is,
15:41and that this is what I am going to pick.
15:43Yes.
15:44Yes.
15:45So, I said, okay, it is possible to get the injection.
15:47Yes.
15:48And she doubted that it is possible to get the children
15:51to get the kids.
15:52Yes.
15:53I mean, it is possible to get the kids to get the kids.
15:55Yes.
15:56Yes.
15:57Yes.
15:58Yes.
15:59Yes.
16:00Yes.
16:01Yes.
16:02Yes.
16:03Yes.
16:04And when she was taking the kids to school,
16:05the three of them came to school and said,
16:07look, there is something happening in your shoulder.
16:10Yes.
16:11So, let me tell the doctor,
16:12or if there is a chicken box.
16:14Yes.
16:15Yes.
16:16So, she was scared,
16:17and she immediately saw the doctor.
16:20My wife.
16:21Yes.
16:22The doctor told me that it's not infection, it's bite marks, and the doctor told me that you go ahead and go ahead and tell the ma'am who's bite marks.
16:38The wife came back to the doctor and the kids left the school.
16:46The doctor told me that the doctor told me that there's nothing happening here or that there's nothing happening here.
16:53It's going to be in your house or in the clinic.
16:57So we knew that these are bite marks.
17:02How did you see CCTV?
17:06Yes, CCTV was the same day.
17:12The first day I was taking it lightly because I thought that someone would do it.
17:16The bite marks were confirmed, but we knew that someone would do it.
17:21I was taking it lightly.
17:24But what happened?
17:27When my wife came back to CCTV, they showed her very quickly.
17:33So she was very satisfied that she didn't show it right.
17:39And I wanted to see what happened.
17:41So in the evening, I called her and said,
17:46I want to see what happened.
17:49When we went to CCTV, they didn't go.
17:55They didn't go on the app.
17:58They didn't go on the app.
17:59They didn't go on the app.
18:00They didn't go on the app.
18:01So my doubt started that there was a big incident.
18:05And they didn't want to see it.
18:07And because I'm from an IT background,
18:10I saw that it didn't go on the app.
18:13I saw wires and the Wi-Fi,
18:18which are cables from the outside,
18:21they were broken.
18:23They were broken.
18:24They were broken.
18:25And I asked them,
18:26if they were broken,
18:30where did your router have been broken?
18:32Where did your modem have been broken?
18:34Where did your DBI have been broken?
18:35And they told them that they were broken.
18:37They were broken.
18:40Now I'm going to fix it.
18:42Then I'll call you.
18:44Then I'll show you.
18:46And I'll show you.
18:47And the time was decided.
18:49Today, the same day,
18:51after 10 p.m.
18:52the shift is over 10 minutes.
18:54Or the next day morning,
18:5710 or 9 p.m.
19:00When I came back home,
19:03I called them for 2 hours.
19:05I said,
19:06I didn't fix it or not.
19:07Because we were not coming from both.
19:09We were very uncomfortable.
19:10And we were very uncomfortable.
19:11And we were very uncomfortable.
19:13Then I called them for 2 hours.
19:17I called them for 2 hours.
19:19To fix it.
19:21But there was no response.
19:23There was no response.
19:25Then I told them,
19:26I said,
19:27Look,
19:28If you're looking at me
19:30and telling me
19:31that the incident is going on.
19:32Then it will happen.
19:34I will see the recording.
19:35And I need the recording.
19:37If I need the recording,
19:39I will complain to the police.
19:41So,
19:42I told them so.
19:43After 10 to 15 minutes,
19:44I dialed 112 number to the police.
19:46After 10 to 15 minutes,
19:47I dialed 112 number to the police.
19:51Because we were very uncomfortable.
19:55And they were very uncomfortable.
19:57And they responded.
19:59Then I called 112 number to the police.
20:02So,
20:03the police saw CCTV?
20:05Yes,
20:06I am telling you.
20:07This is a short story.
20:082, 3,
20:094 days,
20:10I saw CCTV.
20:11I am telling you.
20:12So,
20:134 days,
20:14you got CCTV?
20:15Yes.
20:16When the police came,
20:18the police told me,
20:19I will go to Chawki.
20:20I will get there.
20:21I will get there.
20:22They have written complaints.
20:23We went.
20:24They told me the incident.
20:25They told me the incident.
20:27They told me.
20:28They told me.
20:29They told me.
20:30They told me.
20:39And we have some more breaking news coming in.
20:41A police complaint has been filed alleging that Union Minister and Trishur MP Suresh Gopi has been missing from his constituency.
20:49The complaint lodged with Trishur East Police by Kerala Students Union District President Gokul Guravayur claims that the minister has not been seen in the area since the arrest of Malayali nuns in Chhattisgarh.
21:01A case.
21:02A case he had described as fabricated.
21:04The complaint also claims that Suresh Gopi is absent from the constituency for two months.
21:10So, that's the breaking news that's coming in.
21:12A police complaint has now been filed alleging that Union Minister and Trishur MP Suresh Gopi has been missing from his constituency.
21:20And this complaint has been lodged with Trishur East Police by Kerala Students Union District President who claims that the minister has not been seen in the area since the arrest of the Malayali nuns in Chhattisgarh.
21:33And a case that he had described as fabricated and the complaint also claims that Suresh Gopi has been absent from the constituency for over two months.
21:47A case of a case of a case of the MISP has now been sent to the Kerala Congress in the area of the Kerala Congress.
22:15Wir are in a country where the government is viene from here to Korea until the end of the year,
22:21and also values in the Kuwait Pro.
22:24We've got the Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki.
22:39This is the Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki-Kiki.
22:44And my colleague Shibimol is now joining us with more details on this.
23:08Shibimol, the Threshur KSU chief claims that Suresh Gopi has been missing since over
23:14two months in the constituency and in fact he has also claimed that the revenue minister
23:18and the mayor are also not able to get in touch with him.
23:21Give us more details.
23:22Well, Anjali, this can be seen more of a symbolic protest because you know, Trishur is a constituency
23:29that has considerable Christian population and Suresh Gopi became the first and the only
23:33BJP MP to get elected from Kerala and he won the seat from Trishur constituency.
23:37So that was definitely the backing of the Christian community there, which was the traditionally
23:41a vote bank of the Congress party in Kerala.
23:43So it is in this background that, you know, when a lot of incidents of Christian minorities
23:47being allegedly attacked in BJP rule states that the Congress and the left is raising this
23:53question about why Suresh Gopi is being silent because he's one leader from the BJP who got
23:58the support of the Christian community and won the election and went on to become a union
24:02minister.
24:03He was silent even when the Chattisgarh, when two nuns, Malayali nuns were arrested in Chattisgarh
24:08also.
24:09So where is he?
24:10Why is he silent?
24:11Is what the KSU, which is the student unit of the Congress in Kerala asking this question.
24:14So they filed a complaint as a symbolic protest with the East police saying that their MP has
24:19been missing.
24:20He, Gokul Gurwai, who is also the KSU district secretary, says that in the last two months,
24:26we have not seen him taking part in any of the events in any constituency, in any assembly
24:31constituency.
24:32There are seven assembly constituents that makes the Trishur parliamentary constituency.
24:34In any of the constituency, he is not attending any of the event.
24:38In fact, last day, when a central government scheme project was being inaugurated, the Trishur
24:43mayor as well as the revenue minister of Kerala tried contacting him multiple times, but it
24:47was unavailable.
24:48Whenever his office is contacted, his office staff doesn't know where he is, when is he going
24:52to come to Trishur.
24:53So it is in this background that, you know, a lot of people, especially the leaders of
24:57Trishur have been raising this concern as to where their MP is.
25:00And that's why we have, you know, filed this complaint.
25:02The symbolic protests in the coming days will continue to protest, you know, taking dismissing
25:07of the MP from the constituency to larger people in the constituency is what they have
25:11said.
25:12So, yeah, it's come out as a very, you know, very new thing that, you know, missing complaint
25:17against an MP has been filed.
25:19Because in Kerala, usually, if the parliament session is not there, the MPs, of course,
25:23he's a union minister also.
25:24Otherwise, at least in the weekends, mostly, if it's a state minister, they keep visiting
25:28their constituencies.
25:29MPs are mostly in their constituency.
25:31So, it can be seen in that background also that this question is also being raised to him.
25:35All right, Shibimul, thank you so much for getting us those details and for that context.
25:40And with that, we're now shifting focus.
25:42We're getting some more breaking news.
25:44And Election Commission of India Secretariat writes to Congress MP Jairam Ramesh.
25:56It says EC has granted an appointment for an interaction at 12 p.m. today.
26:01It is requested that due to the limitation of space, names of up to 30 persons may kindly
26:07be intimated.
26:08This is what the Election Commission of India Secretariat has written to Congress MP Jairam
26:13Ramesh.
26:14As of now, there has been no response from Congress MP Jairam Ramesh.
26:17And according to the letter, it is in response to Jairam Ramesh's request for such an appointment
26:23on behalf of certain political parties.
26:26So, remember, there's a slated protest march by the India bloc in which 300 MPs will be
26:35participating.
26:36They will be marching from the Parliament to the Election Commission, although permission
26:41has not been sought from the Delhi police.
26:43And it is highly unlikely that the protests will be taking place.
26:47But amid all of this, the Election Commission of India Secretariat has written to Congress
26:51MP Jairam Ramesh granting appointment for an interaction at 12 p.m. today.
26:56But it has also said that due to limitation of space, names of up to 30 persons may kindly
27:01be intimated.
27:06The leader of opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has upped the ante over voter theft claims.
27:10But the Election Commission has fact-checked him once again.
27:13Amid the political showdown, the opposition is set to hold a major protest, but the Delhi
27:18police claim that the Congress party has not filed any official request for the march.
27:23Rahul Gandhi's new Vote Chori website doubled down on the allegations of vote theft, calling
27:28on citizens to show support for his call for digital voter rolls.
27:32Meanwhile, the Election Commission released fresh proof that the document shown by the Congress
27:36leader about a Bengaluru voter, Shakun Rani, voting twice, was fake and not issued by the
27:42polling officer.
27:43In fact, the poll body has demanded Rahul Gandhi to back his claims with real proof and not
27:48fake data.
27:49Remember, earlier the Election Commission moved the Supreme Court, asserting that no voter
27:54is deleted without prior notice.
27:56The Election Commission also refused to release the names of voters deleted from the state of
28:00Bihar.
28:01The Congress has clarified that Rahul Gandhi cited EC's own data and condemned the EC's
28:07refusal to release names and CCTV images, alleging that the poll body is erasing proof of fraud.
28:13But the BJP has backed the Election Commission's response, calling on Rahul Gandhi to walk the
28:18state of Bihar.
28:19Now he has given him a notice, whereas whatever has been now at public domain, it is clearly
28:34shows that the claim of Mr. Rahul Gandhi is totally false.
28:39It is bogus.
28:40Whatever document is being asked by the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka that he should
28:46place before it.
28:47Otherwise, whatever he has said in that two hours press conference and two hours dharna,
28:56that's all, we have to come to a conclusion that it is bogus.
29:00Rahul Gandhi is a hot tapting.
29:01This is a powerful thing.
29:28protecting issue has become damp squib. It has failed. Madhya Pura people have given a befitting
29:38reply to the falsehood claim of Rahul Gandhi. I think Rahul Gandhi should apologize to the
29:45Madhya Pura people as well as to the nation to misguiding the people of Karnataka as well as
29:53misguiding the people of India and bringing discredit to the constitutional bodies like
30:03election commission. The Congress party today is a very disgruntled party after repeated losses under
30:11Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi has lost every election since he became the leader of the Congress and the
30:18Congress party is in a churn. To distract the Congress party leadership, to distract the Congress
30:24party workers, Rahul Gandhi manufactures these controversies. Everybody who today is in politics
30:32knows that the electoral rolls are available to every political party for scrutiny before elections.
30:38Now Rahul Gandhi doesn't know it because he's on vacation all the time. Rahul Gandhi should stop
30:43taking vacations in Thailand, in Vietnam and wherever else he goes. Sit down and understand how electoral
30:48roles are done. I think the ECI is only hurting its own reputation by not showing the facts and not
30:57coming out transparently to the people of India.
31:00Yes, Rahul Gandhi's bomb-put-ne-per-chunayog, the website has been closed. Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh,
31:06Bihar and Rajasthan. These four states, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra,
31:11the digital otter list are still gaps. Why are they gaps in the way that they are gaps in the
31:16house? This means that in the.chor skewels are given in the mission. That is proof that Rahul
31:25Ji gave the talking statement in the same way that the law was taken into the.chor skewels are given in
31:29the laufen.
31:30So the election commission has been telling Rahul Gandhi to present proof to back his claims
31:36about voter theft. Let's take a look at what Karnataka chief election officer has told Rahul
31:42Gandhi. Now, the Karnataka EC has claimed that voter Shakun Rani has denied double voting as
31:48was being claimed by Rahul Gandhi. The probe found papers you showed are not genuine. So the papers
31:54showed by Rahul Gandhi are not genuine. This is what the Karnataka EC is claiming. The tick marked
31:59paper was not issued by the poll officer that was shown by Rahul Gandhi. Let's also take a look at
32:04what the Maharashtra chief election officer has told Rahul Gandhi. Now, it has said that sign and
32:11return and close declaration and or oath in 10 days. Congress never moved DM's poll office with
32:19complaint and that the poll result can be contested in the high court alone. This is what the Maharashtra
32:25EC has said. Now, let's move on to Haryana chief election officer, what he has said to Rahul Gandhi.
32:31The Haryana CEO has said that Rahul Gandhi has 10 days to back his charges on oath or give proof to
32:39back his claims on voter theft. So that's the response that has come in from the Maharashtra,
32:46Karnataka and Haryana election commission who have been saying that Rahul Gandhi must present proof
32:52to back his claims of voter theft. In fact, the Karnataka EC has also said that the voter,
32:58Shakun Rani, whom Rahul Gandhi claimed that had a double voted, has denied double voting. And in fact,
33:04the probe found that the papers Rahul Gandhi showed were not genuine.
33:13And epic wars in Bihar have taken center stage. Hours after Bihar leader of opposition,
33:19Tejasvi Yadav claimed that deputy chief minister and BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha holds two epic cards.
33:24The election commission sent a notice to Vijay Sinha. The poll body has sought his reply for having
33:29registered as a voter in two different assembly constituencies and for us possessing two ID cards
33:35by August 14. Remember, the RJD leader alleged deputy chief minister's one epic number is in the
33:41Patna segment, where his age is listed as 60. And another epic number is in Lucky Sarai,
33:47where his age is listed as 57. However, Bihar deputy chief minister dismissed these allegations,
33:52saying that his family previously lived in the Patna assembly area. And when he applied for a voter ID
33:58in Lucky Sarai, he asked the booth level officer to delete his earlier epic ID. He also stated
34:04that he has evidence to support his deletion request. The Bihar deputy chief minister has also slammed
34:10Tejasvi Yadav over alleged age affidavit discrepancies, accusing him of continuing his father's
34:15corrupt legacy.
34:16The Bihar deputy chief minister of Maudidji, Vijay Kumar Sinha. He has two EPIC numbers. He has two
34:31different forms. He has two different forms of Vedanta buses. He also created the

48:03Welcome back. Delhi is now ready for an electric revolution.
48:13Global EV giant Tesla has officially rolled out in the national capital.
48:16With the launch of the new showroom, Tesla is gearing up to transform the way Delhiites drive.
48:22But the road ahead isn't without its challenges.
48:25Take a look at this report.
48:26Delhi, the wait is over.
48:32Tesla is now set to roll on the streets of the national capital, fully charged and ready to drive the future.
48:38After its mega launch in Mumbai, the EV giant has opened its second showroom in Delhi, marking a major step in its India entry.
48:47Elon Musk's Tesla has launched sales of its popular Model Y SUV, priced at 61 lakh rupees for the RWD variant in Delhi,
48:54and 69.14 lakh rupees for the long-range version, which has a claimed range of 622 kilometers.
49:01However, prices in Gurugram are significantly higher, reaching up to 75.61 lakh rupees due to the Haryana government's EV policy and higher road taxes and charges.
49:12It is learned that Tesla will also install its first phase of superchargers in Delhi NCR, with planned sites in Sarket, Aero City, Noida and Gurugram's Golf Course Road.
49:28These V4 superchargers will make help charge your electric car much faster and easier, so you spend less time waiting.
49:37The cables are longer, about 3 meters, so it is easy to plug in, no matter where your car's charging port is.
49:44One V4 cabinet can charge up to 8 cars at one go, making it handy when many cars need charging.
49:51Remember, Tesla is going through a tough time.
49:57It needs the Indian market, because its global vehicle sales have significantly declined in 2025, with a 13.5% drop in the second quarter compared to the previous year.
50:08The decline is due to several factors, like the growing competition from Chinese manufacturers like BYD, which is offering more affordable and updated models.
50:17Then, there's Tesla's reputational damage, which is linked to CEO Elon's political involvement and public image issues that have driven away some customers, especially in Europe and the US.
50:32India is the world's third-largest car market, but the penetration of electric vehicles remains low.
50:38While Tesla is trying to dominate this market, Trump's tariff war and freight sentiments in India can thwart the company's plans.
50:50Import duties could make Tesla cars significantly more expensive, affecting the demand, even by the wealthy urban customers.
50:59Can Tesla drive India's electric future and transform the luxury car landscape?
51:03That, only time will tell.
51:06Bureau Report, India Today.
51:08And with that, it is a wrap on this bullet.
